So as it stands now:

Cowboys: Townsville, Mackay, Pride
Titans: Burleigh, Tweed
Storm: Easts, Sunshine Coast
Knights: Ipswich
Warriors: Redcliffe

Would that now just leave Norths, Souths, Wynnum Manly and Central Queensland on the table?

In a sense it’s probably pleasing to see more and more clubs recognising the quality of the Queensland competitions and choosing to get involved with it. It might not be good for the Broncos but surely it’s good for Queensland.
Meh, I’d swap 10 in a row for one Broncos premiership. Stopped caring about Origin when the team was filled with Melbourne cheats

Thoughts on all this mate? Redcliffe just seemed like such a good fit for the Broncos.

I think its been coming for a while. Redcliffe are a good club and i think the Broncos will miss not having them as a feeder, but i also think Redcliffe will miss having Brisbane as well. Its been a good partnership over the years but probably the right time for a break.

From the perspective of Redcliffe wanting a shot at an NRL licence in the future I can definitely see the sense in not wanting to be a Broncos feeder club when they try to make that case.

Half the Broncos squad are from New Zealand and NSW now. If I want to support Brisbane and Queensland players then Origin is basically all we have left now.

Depending on how we finish the season and what TPJ does with his eligibility it could be 6 players

Apparently broncos dropped all feeder teams and will reassess in august when they know the landscape of the game. Apparently dolphins didn’t want to wait and this was a way they could continue their path to making their NRL bid. That’s redcliffe and Ipswich gone this year

Jets haven’t been since 2018.

Who do we have left as feeder clubs

Souths
[automerge]1591614819[/automerge]
well....I can offer the following....

23 year old Prop

ran the 2nd most metres in the NSW cup, topped the tackle count, lead the comp in decoy runs and post contact metres

his name is Lachlan Timms, and he's on our books...

No he’s not.

Wouldnt be surprised to see somebody like Jordan Grant end up at the Warriors.

If he’s still employed. Dolphins are gearing up to get 10-12 Warriors a week.

Not sure i'd be happy with that. Dont think it would go down that well down at Reddy.

So Souths is our only feeder club? That’s mental

They didn’t have our players yes but they didn’t sign up with Newcastle until late last year
