Is anything other than the Storm a viable option at this time of the season considering he has not even trained with any of the other teams?

If you were Smith, Broncos would be the only real option.
1) Club of prestige and history.
2)Dave is the CEO.
3)Walters/Maroons/Smith link.
4)Better chance of winning with Broncos, better squad than Tits.
5)The NRL and media would have a field day. Sponsors and promo galore, would make for a good story.

Better squad than the Titans? Yeah, probably but you'd understand if the opposite view was being argued. Either way it's hardly enough in isolation to be considered a strong tick for the Bronco's.

For me because I was certain he'd announce his intention at the end of last season and I said so. Should have been clearer !

We lost our best prospect and have replaced him with no-one.

Yes, I don't often make declarations and I did on this one and I was wrong. I'd been told he'd decided to head North although he wasn't retiring altogether but he was finished in Melbourne.

Tomato Sauce went on to say that there had been informal talks with both the Tits and Broncos and they'd accelerated after Seeplod's demise. I don't know if something changed down in Melbourne which put a delay on things or that a qld based agreement was reached sometime ago. He did say that there was plenty of cash from third parties with enticements from both camps.

Oh well, I'll be happy when he gets us back on track

we were poorly coached and killed by injuries.

at full strength there is only 3 (AJ, Moe and Tino) that i would take in a heart beat; I would also look at Fifita and Ash if they took sizable paycuts.

posters like Bgoat have been speaking truths but most have us choose to ignore because does not suit our narrative

I'm not being negative, just realistic - as per usual.

Titans beat us twice last year and have had gains whereas we've lost players and replaced them with nuffies - this isn't me being negative it's just factual.

All of those positives you've highlighted are great but at this stage they're just the normal pre-season fluff. I am hopeful that kevvie rights the ship and all of those things bear fruit.
