I hate to be negative too, but I can't escape this God awful sinking feeling that he's going to be right and when the music stops we'll end up with a hugely expensive upgrade for Staggs at 5/8 and a discounted Milford at Halfback and we'll have to pretend to be happy with it because hey, at least Milford didn't cost us a million bucks a year again this time.
Nothing I've seen in the last three years out of this place gives me any confidence that in a game of musical chairs with the other clubs that we won't find a way to plant our ass on a chair only to have that same chair collapse right under us. You can just smell it happening...

Both figures sound unlikely to me. A million a year for obvious reasons is outrageous but a million over three hardly sounds enticing enough to relocate to that sweat box up north. I'd say the actual offer is somewhere in between IMO.

I hope we are having a word to Dufty's manager about what sort of coin he is looking at. Dragons aren't in a hurry to re-sign him and he has no significant rep honors to his name and a lot of teams have settled fullbacks so should be a decent price.
Only 25 and I think he adds a lot more attacking options to our team than Isaako which is our weakness at the moment. Kevvie has improved our defence and resilience imo, but we still struggle to score try's.

Absolutely!!! He has had an up and down career thus far and he can do some really dumb things out there (along with some magical things) but he is heavily involved and has speed to burn. Your typical X factor player who is still learning his craft.

But...we need a NRL standard fullback, and if Duftys the only one available then...

Maybe, but a ready to go Dufty vs. another hyped inexperienced youngster who we hope will reach some sort of form and value who will probably be constantly linked to his cousin at the Titans is a no brainer for me.

Jesus, anything is now an option by the sounds of it. Can't see that deal being favourable to either side. Parra seem all in on Moses and Souths may as well keep Reynolds in that instance as it better suits their style of play with Latrell and Walker providing the attack.

Not sold on Dufty, we need a fullback that's good with set plays as our spine creates mud attack atm, he is excellent in support especially around the middle though which would for sure get us points when we have the best off loader in the competition in TPJ.
