Learn some humility and stop trying to belittle and degrade people on the internet. I think you're mostly targeting me though. It's a bit weird. Disagree with me all you want but quit it with the insinuations. You do not know me.

Dont flatter yourself. I dont think its degrading or insinuating at all to point out you barely watch these players play in games yet you give all these opinions about their abilities. You clearly don't watch a lot of them apart from YouTube clips.

This could not be further from the truth. I'm actually unafraid to be a contrarian. I say things that won't be popular but may be true. You get insulted by my opinions regularly because you cannot handle me going against the grain.

Saying we should sign Jamal Fogarty instead of Brodie Croft may have seemed absurd but I honestly thought it was a better option. I think time proves most of what I say to be true. Happy to admit where I've been wrong.

This squad is a big contender for back-to-back spoons as it stands.

I think you need to lose the paranoia. I'm also not insulted by anything you say either, even you crassly accusing me of using butt plugs. If i took things to heart on an internet forum i really shouldnt be going on one. I havent belittled you. I just dont believe you watch half these players you go on about. Its that simple.

If was actually sad enough to do it, i could pretty easily go back over all the players you say we should either throw into the side because they are the next " insert player here " or some flavour of the month from reserve grade and show how a lot of the time its not been the right choice. Glaring example, Tesi Niu. Nowhere near ready. The Carrigan snippet you posted is also a great example. After a year of him playing there, everyone can see he just doesnt have the skill set to excel at lock at this moment in time. He may surprise me, but i doubt it. He is a good lock, but he is just playing lock because we are thin on the ground for decent locks at Brisbane. He will be a very good prop though, and thats the difference. Good at one role, better at another. You just think you are right about it because a worse coach than Ivan Henjak kept picking him there.

I dont even think anyone was saying it was absurd we sign a Fogarty type player either. People was just having a pop at you at the time because you only jumped on his bandwagon after he was getting a lot of success at Burleigh.

I think Staggs is capable of playing fullback or 5/8. When he comes back from injury he should play centre but next off season he could move into the spine. I know he has to improve his handling and his defensive decision making (although his one on one defence is often pretty good) but he has some serious physicality and competitive desire to be involved in the game. His kicking game is pretty good and his passing game is developing. He is an X factor player and the only question is can he eliminate the errors from his game. I think he can.

Can also move into 5/8 if Milf remains the player he’s been in recent years.

My only concern is that it leaves us with a very young spine.

What experienced fullback do you want that is semi realistic for next year?

We are under performers this side isn’t gonna win a premiership next year and the quicker we figure that out the better... kelly, Mead and potentially chambers, Asiata and Copley all added experience to this squad we don’t need a bang average experienced fullback we need a Good fullback... and the only 2 GOOD fullbacks that are achievable signings is Allan and Drinkwater

It’s really not a contender for back to back spoons we are the biggest under achievers... our side has the highest potential but they have **** all motivation

So how that works out for him will probably set the bar for what Staggs thinks he can get also...be it here or anywhere else.

Id be happy to pay Staggs as the best paid centre in the game...once he proves it...which wont be for a while...

Sucks for him to be injured and all, but thats football. When your bodys your currency cant get upset when a club wants you for 70 cents in the dollar..

Previous great Brisbane sides had the majority of their cap invested in the backline.....we are the opposite to some degree...

All the teams that over invest in their forwards have done poorly.

Broncos, Cowboys, Titans, Dragons, Bulldogs have all had several big name, expensive forwards over the past few years. No surprise they have been the bottom performing teams.

Then when you have a look at the better performing teams, the vast majority of their cap is on two or three people in their spine, storm, roosters, Rabbitohs etc.

You want maybe 1 game breaking forward. The rest just need to be solid and feed off that big name forward. Like the storm did with Jesse Bromwich. Got younger guys that wanted to he in a pack with him and they have gone on to do well. Same thing roosters did with JWH, and what we had done previously with Webcke/Petro etc.
