Not only did they not interview him, but they've selectively quoted him for the sake of their story. I listened to the podcast the other day and if anything Smith was upset (but understanding) that he was leaving Melbourne.

I was reading part of the delay with lodge is we were looking at replacing Lodge with Rudolf hence why Sharks were quick to resign him, so wouldn't be surprised with this rumour, we are looking at someone who will cost max 400K to replace lodge

I would have really liked the Rudolf signing, looking at the off-contract list there is only D.Lui, Issac Liu, B. Afoa.
