Apparently we didn't even get to the negotiating table... apparently that was a decent enough story for Dearden, but not a good enough narrative this time around

Weren't they reporting it as being like 1.2 million over 3 years and then suddenly it's 300k a season? Media and others continue to show their ability to pull figures out of their ass.

He also says there’s been no contact between Hodgson & the club. I don’t think that is at all surprising considering he’s still technically contracted....

The thing that fustrates me about Broncos' recruitment strategy is that they always recruit/extend players when they're in peak form meaning they need to pay them top dollar and in most cases they blow their trumpet to the media before getting the player's signature.

They could've identified Hynes way back when before he hit top gear and could've gotten him for cheap as no one else wanted him. Now Dufty having his best game last night, now every man and his dog wants him. Dufty was on the market for a couple of years now, FMD.
Riki had one breakout game then gets an extension and becomes mediocre every since. Same goes with Flegler, Carrigan.... FMD
