There is a reason the Dragons are letting Dufty go, there is a reason no other club is throwing offers at him.

Solid no to Dufty from mine, we have players that can work into FB and do well there.
We need a 9 more than anything else, simple as that.

Not sure why no clubs are targeting Dufty or why the Dragons are letting him go after his performance last night, but traditionally his defense is terrible, but there has to be more to this.

Like Lodge, i have a feeling it might be an attitude/personality issue.

Isaako definitely is not.
Cobbo is still learning the position from all reports.

There's a load of blokes we could try there. I think Farnworth will go alright at FB, and thats after 12 minutes of seeing him play there.
In a pinch we could put Nui back in, and give him another shot, shit we could even throw Staggs, Arthurs or Mead back there if needed just to see how it go's.
Cobbo as well. (Cobbo is who i think Broncos should be looking at as the future fullback)

Agreed Issako is done at the back, so its the wing or Qcup for him.
But Turpin, as much as i like the fella, is offering us absolutely nothing at 9 and if i had my way, i would be throwing the bank at The Cheese, but that wont happen till 2023 at the earliest and the odds are well and truly against us.
If not the Cheese then Grant, but a proper attacking hooker will do a lot more for our side than Dufty in my opinion.
I could very well be completely wrong, but thats what my gut tells me, and i would rather we secure a good Hooker than a fullback with stinking defense that apparently no other club wants for mysterious reasons.

At this point Dufty is close to being the best attacking fullback in the game, he's got it all in that department. His defense must be fucking atrocious for no-one to want him.

Trbo, Teddy, Latrell, Papen, Laurie, Brimson, Ponga and Walsh/RTS are all much, much better in attack than Dufty.

Not only did they not interview him, but they've selectively quoted him for the sake of their story. I listened to the podcast the other day and if anything Smith was upset (but understanding) that he was leaving Melbourne.
