He may be able to. I hope he can but he hasn’t shown any thing in his coaching career so far that fills me with any confidence. The one thing I thought Kev would at least be great at is improving the feeling at the club and getting the players to like him and play for him - simplify things and give players stability and confidence.
He’s absolutely not done that. Al the constant chopping and changing, saying one thing and doing another, players being told they aren’t wanted and then saying they’re staying, dropping players for seemingly no logical reason, giving good players next to no minutes, no consistency in bench usage, forgetting to sub players back on. There’s no way the players aren’t even more confused than ever. It’s a miracle if through all of the uncertainty and instability the players have endured this season that they have any confidence left in Kev. He has shown zero conviction toward any of his decisions.
