Asiata likely to join Bulldogs according to the CM

Shame he never had a chance to play here uninjured as i think he coukd have been a great ballplaying lock

Good signing from the dogs. A lot of attacking spark across the park now.

Very impressive line up compared to this season, and should have some attacking flair. They’re only short a decent hooker and a real halfback to shift Burton to 6 and it’s a very good team.

I think a lot of their signings are short sighted and won’t amount to much in the long run but they should shoot up the ladder next year and be in that 7-10 range.

Bronx better get their shit together because we won’t have the dogs there next year to protect us from the spoon.

edit: I wonder if they’d consider Luke Brooks, surely Madge wants him out so Douhi and Hastings can play in the halves.

Well, it's certainly a possibilty. I couldn't see Isaako's name anywhere in the first 21 players. I thought he was pretty damn good game before last.

Ive thought he's been solid since he's come back into the side on the wing.
He's more of an attacking threat than Coates with ball in hand and his defence is an improvement plus he's a goal kicking option

Trent Barrett is decent at recruitment. Their team will be a lot more solid next year. The purchase of Asiata actually makes sense for their team.

Cotric was crap at Raiders too. His career is mostly built on hype of potential. Dogs are paying too much for him. Addo-Carr came relatively cheap for 500k when he’s reaching the peak of his career.

500k is not relatively cheap for a winger ... that is premium winger money

Yeah I wouldn't say that's cheap that's money you would maybe pay him if you were going to put him at Fullback. If Burton and Dufty weren't coming Addo Carr would be getting paid 500k to catch a cold

I actually think he just got crippled (no pun intended) by injury. That and he rarely got to play the role he’s actually quite good at.

With better luck and deployment, he adds quite a bit to a roster like ours. But I guess it just wasn’t meant to be for us / him.

I wouldnt be so sure. Fullback they have Laurie and wingers are nofauluma and maumalo.

They only brought maumalo to the club from the warriors after their discussions with isaako. So they may have moved on from him.
