So what do you guys reckon, November 1 hitlist:

1. Grant/B.Smith
2. Hammer/Manu
3. Mo/Welch
1. Play Paix and back him to succeed at 9. If he fails, sign Grant when he's available.

2. Play Niu and back him to succeed at 1. If he fails, sign Hammer.. Or just play someone like Cobbo at 1.

3. Sign one of them, at the right price. Don't pay more than 450k.

Billy Smith is off contract. He looks like a good talent. I would not be opposed to signing him. He was supposed to be Latrell's replacement for Roosters at centre but injury got in the way of that being the case. I can't imagine him costing much more than 200k..

For all you kids at home wondering who Billy Smith is..

Clearly you were implying with us as that is what the conversation is. If you are wrong just admit me, how ridiculous.

C'mon man. That's pretty rude. The guy at least brings something interesting to this thread besides the name calling, constant team lists and "should we buy this guy" posts. Things change constantly behind the scenes. We should be thanking guys like this, not treating them like shit.

We just need to move farnworth out of there and get a solid defensive centre who can also pass the ball. I think Gagai would have cost too much. Hopefully we get someone experienced and relatively cheap to do the job.
Honestly, I'd flick Glenn AND Farnworth. To me Farnworth is the opposite to Croft, with Farnworth being a liability in defence but useful in attack.

A really good mobile defender on the inside would be the priority.

Sign grant or Smith asap and use 22 to decide who to keep out of Turpin and paix
Payten is trying to make the hammer a centre so with Holmes there we can give him his preferred position moving him away from NQ would be the only problem.
manu is similar we can offer him fullback will cost alot more though.
Out of mo and Welch I think we'd have more of a chance with mo either would be great.
Throw ponga onto that hit list aswell if he doesn't take up his options.
If we could land at least 2 of those 7 it would improve the team alot

Will Chambers is an option. I haven't seen his Cronulla form and he can be a grub but maybe he can do a job there. Watson would be a good pick up but I feel he is looking for more money and a guaranteed start. Hetherington seems to be doing a good job too.
I really like Hetherington so far. A few mistakes here and there but one to keep I think. Not hot for Chambers but really it's a bit hard to judge without knowing more about what's going on in his universe.

Am I missing something? Everyone is calling @QLD JANE a him? Clear it up for us please.

Maybe we need the whole LinkedIn gender tags that seems to be raging at the moment.

haha good point. Wrong of me to assume. Just BHQ is a sausage fest and I figured it was a Dane Carlaw reference :P

Oh, sorry. I didn't mean out of the Broncos! I just meant until he has had more time in the centres in ISC. I do like him.
Oh right, that makes more sense haha.

Maybe move him to the wing, but I don't see a better option than Herbie in our centre/wings. I think he'll be worth persisting with at left centre personally. Next year the left edge may look like

2. Oates
3. Farnworth
6. Gamble
11. Capewell

You'd expect those guys to sort something out defensively.

The Roosters just dropped Josh Morris to keep him in the side, no chance they'll be letting him go. Unlike other clubs (apart from the Storm), the Roosters almost never lose players they're desperate to keep.
