After the thrashing the Raiders gave the boys last Sunday it is a good comeback win for the boys. Gets them back in the top 8, albeit only just and probably only for tonight!
Hunt was superb again it looks like, how good is this kid going to be?
That may be the case, but he has done it consistently to side over the past 6 weeks and basically the season proper to date.
Surely he is an option in the not to distant future to play a part in the first grade halves! Heck I would probably play him next week against Penrith, with our Origin guys out and with injuries and what not.
However he may be playing U19 Origin, that could be a bit of problem [icon_razz1 eusa_think
Pretty hard last week with 4 or 5 of them having to back up from SOO U18's during the week, something I believe the club had hoped they wouldn't have to do as it was planned to rest them vs Canberra but with plenty of injuries they had to play them. Pretty good player welfare plans by the club that unfortunately went astray as I don't believe kids that young should be pressed to hard too early in their careers.

THE WOW Brisbane Broncos under-20 team has shaken the National Youth Competition with a victory over top-placed Penrith at CUA Stadium tonight.
The young Broncos were too good for the Panthers, two tries from fullback Jharal Yow Yeh spearheading Brisbane to a 38-24 victory.
The victory was a triumph with under-20 regulars Andrew McCullough and Josh Hoffman on NRL duty.
Leading 18-12 at halftime, the Broncos got it out to 24-12 when a long ball gave Gerard Beale passage to the line.
Jared Kahu converted from out wide in the 52nd minute.
Three minutes later quick hands gave winger Mitch Rivett enough room to sneak over in the corner, Kahu again lobbing over a good goal.
Kahu’s second penalty of the nigh gave the Broncos a 32-12 lead with 21 minutes remaining.
Penrith prop Sam McKendry went over for his second try of the match in the 64th minute, the conversion putting it at 32-18.
Then Daniel Penese made it interesting when he scored with eight minutes to go to bring the Panthers back to within eight points.
But Yow Yeh’s second try of the night closed the book on Penrith with three minutes left.
The Broncos had begun in the best possible way when Jharal Yow Yeh scored in the 11th minute.
Pressuring the Panthers’ line, halfback Ben Hunt put in a short grubber which Yow Yeh easily rounded up behind the posts.
Kahu knocked over the conversion and it was 6-0.
It was 10-0 whe n Kahu did it all himself in the 15th minute, breaking the line from 40 metres out and outpacing the Penrith fullback.
Another Kahu conversion and it was 12-0.
The Panthers got it back to 12-6 through McKendry but the Broncos had pinched an eight-point break when Kahu kicked a penalty in the 27th minute.
Troyden Watene made it 18-6 when he crashed through some ordinary defence in the 31st minute.
Just before halftime an altercation broke out and Bronco Michael Spence and Penrith half Joel Romelo were sent to the sin bin.
From the ensuing penalty Panther captain Jamie Theoharous crashed over near the posts, Matt Wright’s conversion cutting the Brisbane lead to 18-12 at the break.
BRISBANE BRONCOS 38 (J Yow Yeh 2, J Kahu, T Watene, G Beale, M Rivett tries; Kahu 7 goals) defeated PENRITH PANTHERS 24 (S McKendry 2, J Romelo, D Penese tries; M Wright 4 goals) at CUA Stadium.
