I think Hoffman will drop of the bench.. otherwise that leaves our bench too light IMO

I say drop KHunt and put Hoffman at fullback.

I agree, but it won't happen.

I hope he has a blinder though, and prove that he wants to put in his best foot forward for the club for the next couple of months. If he plays crap, drop him.

Glad to see Yow Yeh get another opportunity on the wing.

I think most people have written him off a little too soon.

I was going to bag that selection, but then realised he'd be paired with Alex Glenn. They'd have a fairly good combination given they played together in U20s last year. I think that could work.

Yeah, Yow Yeh has been poor in defence, but that was when he was defending next to Folau, who is even worse in defence than Hodges. It will be interesting to see how he goes there with a real centre and not a winger.

One thing I don't want to see again (which is very likely with this forward pack) is us going wide every play, like against the Raiders. It just makes us completely disorganised . We need to straighten the attack and play for field position ahead of trying to score points. Though this might be hard with just the 3 props in the side, one of which is a rookie, another which likes to run wide more than down the middle and the last who is coming back from a fairly long injury.

Actually on the subject of Special K he is not special but average. K is over-rated and will be for a long-time. His manager obviously has marketed him well and the Broncos need to drop him.

Justin Hodges a few years ago stood in as fullback and was very very good in the position. Henjak mentioned putting Hodges in this position and I reckon the Broncos go for it!

Hodges would be a brilliant fullback as it will give him more room to move in attack plus he's a great defender. Hodges as a leader in this club would also have more view of what's going on in the game which will allow him to give far greater direction to the team.

I'd bring Folau into the centres instead of giving it to an inexperienced player and put a fast agile player instead into the wing.

My apologies I forgot Folau is injured.

Folau needs to spend a LOT of time in the offseason learning how to play centre IMO. He doesn't hit holes well, he doesn't read the play well in defence, his lateral movement in defence is poor. Hodges is by far the best centre in the club and moving him to fullback weakens the centre IMO.

Moot point for the rest of this season anyway. The Broncos won't drop Hunt.

i take it copley is injured ? Pretty solid team we have got pity attitude doesn't reflect talent .

Not true - his managers barely even have to lift a finger, under 13s Tee Ball speaks for itself.

You can pickup Sharks to win @ 4.65- great value IMO

Include Falou into this line up and this would be close to our best side.
I'm counting about seven Origin or Aussie players.
Its time to toughen the f*ck boys....
Lets show that there is still some pride in your jersey....

I wish the Sharks still had Nutley, I would be there this weekend.

Sharks catching +12.5 points start ... bookmakers aren't stupid and as someone who's up nearly 50k against them over the past three and a bit years I can tell you, as a rule of thumb in sports bettig, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is ... there's no such thing as gift, it's why Las Vegas keeps on building casinos ...

Anyway, my point is, you can often tell a hell of a lot by just looking at a price / line ... and this one certainly stands out ... I had the Broncos pegged at around $1.50 (Sharks $2.40) ... and the start about 4 or 5 points ... Clearly the bookmakers expect a big statement from the Broncos on monday night (and trust me, they have "moles" everywhere) ... and backing the Sharks could well be a massive trap ...

Wow...if you include Folau and Clinton in that team, it's a pretty damn good team on paper. Even without them 2, we've got a real good side.

And then compare that to the Sharks team this week lol. Honestly, I won't accept ANYTHING LESS THAN A 20 POINT WIN!!

Exactly why missing the finals is not good enough with our roster.

Attitude HAS to be right this week

Anyone know why Gorrell was named at no.9 on the team announcement at bigpond?
