He's blowing after 15 minutes, that's why he only gets that much. They're sending him back to Q Cup with a view to playing the full 80 minutes, or at least a solid 60-70. He needs to get used to it.

Taylor was playing a fair while longer than 15 minutes in the opening rounds wasn't he? And playing quite well I thought as well.

Played well in patches. Bursts of 5 minutes of good stuff, then 10 minutes of MIA.

I am not to worried about Taylor playing QLD cup it will be good for him as long as he goes back with the right attitude. He may go back to QLD cup thinking F*** this I 'm signing with the Rabbits I don't give a crap. He should go back with the attitude of I am only young and this will help my development. Taylor could be better than Webcke and Petro combined but my guess is we won't find out for another 4 or 5 years at least.

When DT can play with the intensity that Sammy Thaiday has for the whole time he is on the field, then I'll start whinging about his minutes.

I was one of those who complained about Bennett's use of DT last year, but that was because in the final 10 minutes we had a whole bunch of forwards who were buggered and Taylor had been cooling his heels since the first half!!

I don't think Taylor has been used very well this season anyway. He should come on in the last 15 minutes of first half and same with the second half.

Really? IMO he's been a lot better than that, certainly a big improvement from last year. Not yet a world beater but showing plenty of potential. The "bursts" you talk about I think are the moments of brilliance he has. Other than that he's been doin his job fine. His defence in particular has improved.

I can't see a valid reason why Taylor has been dropped, so i'm hoping it's not cause he has signed elsewhere. How many minutes did he play last week?

Taylor played 15 minutes last week. If Henjak wants Taylor to play more minutes I can't see why he doesn't give him more time.

Maybe he cant handle it...

PS I hope wapau is gun...just coz his name is wapau!

If I had the time, materials and creative ability I'd so make a banner / flag with 'Wa-Pow' written in old school comic book text.

I'm pretty excited to see Wapau run out in Broncos colours. The few games that I have seen him play for Redcliffe he was very good.

Not too concerned about Taylor. Clinton and Kenny have been very good the last few weeks.

First off I'm absolutely wrapped in seeing Wapau getting a go in the nrl, I was so keen last year to see him get a run and now he finally gets his chance. Do you think this could be a possible ploy by the broncos/Ivan to show/convince other teams that the broncs don't think DT is worth 250K a season yet by making him look more like an NRL fringe player? Although I think McGuire is going to be some player in the future, I don't think he stood out over DT last week and I think I'd prefer DT on the bench as I think our bench is already too light on by having a specialist hooker and a backrow/centre on there..... DT is a special talent, but as they say front rowers don't mature till a lot later on. I

That's a good point on DT actually, and a good strategy if it's true.

With the way recruitment is done these days I really doubt that clubs would calculate their offers on the basis of an opposition coach sending him baack to the QLD cup and making him look like a fringe player. They would have recruitment officers who would have studied him at great length in person and on tapes, so I hardly think they'd be bluffed into thinking he wasn't up to NRL standard when making their offer simply cause Ivan has sent him back to the QLD cup.

couple of clubs have already made an offer so its not going to decrease on the back of Dave being sent back to QC...

Wow, that is interesting, and will be quite the backfilp. I can understand maybe putting Beale back. Wynumm keep getting belted and it couldnt be good for his confidence. But Hunt & Yow Yeh eusa_think

Yow Yeh played poorly for Norths on the weekend.
