As usual Bennett doesn't do squat, changes, pffft, the typical Moon and Taylor getting dropped we have seen time and time again with Hodges and Kenny coming back in, wow what impressive changes.

very very frustrating.

I cannot wait for next season.

On the two sides, I don't see how telling everyone their will be changes then not making them except give our forwards the attitude that they are safe. The Sharks pack work very hard and are very tough up front they could well smash us out of the game if we don't turn up again.

As BroncoMatt said though, this side is for program purposes only. Don't throw the tomatoes yet.

Can't believe Moon was dropped and Kemp remained, even IF the team isn't necessarily finalized.

I think naming a side that isn't going to play is stupid, pointless and isn't an effective tactic. What is the point of not naming the right side?

I don't hink the side will change. Another thing that is certain, Bennett doesn't change sides other than to shuffle the 17 around a little bit once he has named the side. Injuries and suspension tend to be the only reason he makes changes.

But don't you get sick of Bennett's mind games?

As it stands, Stagg will be our stand-in hooker. Now that's a new role.

I don't care what team he names. As long as the right one steps out onto the paddock. Mind games don't bother me one bit.

why drop dave taylor The boy will never improve in the QC he will go back be a leader and be unstoppable. He will never live up to his potential with this on again off again saga bennett puts him though. He is 20 years old dont demoralise the boy and drop him he has been improving every week over the last month. he is 20 years old put him on the bench to learn its not his fault the club has no leaders in the forwards to tell him what to do on the field. Bennet should give him a target every week and tell him to achieve it. eg 10 hit up 5 runs out wide 15 tackles, instead of him getting lost because no one up front can help the young blokes. Its now has to be bennett job to be his mentor as our sides forwards aren't...

and more on this, ok moons dropped also but his not ours next year so if he doesnt improve so be in. but taylor is our future

Taylor needs to improve his work off the ball, eg from marker and trailing across in defence when the ball is shifted quickly. He clocks off too often in these areas and the NRL is not the place to learn this, particularly approaching the business end of the year.

but.. he is not going to improve in the QC.. there is a massive difference in quality between QC and NRL. he need someone to stand up and show him how its done. im not saying play him 60 min but 25 minutes nrl is worth about 250 QC

What has eastwood done wrong? He actually played alright, as did moon. the only thing Taylor did wrong was back chat and he is gonna be dropped, while ennis is good for atleast 2 stupid penalties a game. Sims gone, which I can understand he has dropped off, while Hannant who has been average for as long is still there.

All this looks like is the usual subjects being the scape goats if this is true. Bennetts idea of a shake up these days seems to be to drop the players he drops on a regular basis anyway.

Bennett go to the dragons already.

.....Ennis have to be dropped if their performance doesnt improve.

Eh, what? Ennis has been arguably our best player this season, and is one of the biggest reasons why our reasonably crappy forward pack (so far) is still matching it with the oppositions.

Okay, what's going on here? Sharks are $2.80 outsiders to "upset" us this Friday night.

Given their poor form up here, close win on the weekend and horror showing against Manly, that'd put both teams at evens IMO, or the Sharks as slight favourites.

Looks like I'll consider another nibble against us - especially with the line at 7.5 points. We've been pretty bad in recent weeks.

Haha I was right. I said in another thread that it's all bullshit and Wayne won't make any changes. Seriously guys, we already knew this - It's Wayne at his best.

Haha. Scapegoat much? Just pick the guy who gives away stupid penalties? How about you actually use someone as a scapegoat who is actually in poor form and isn't creating opportunities or playing well at all?

Hmm. I recall similar comments by posters after our 5 game losing streak in 2006.

Have some FAITH in Wayne. You lot should have learned from your mistakes in 06'![/quote:3qzpev01]

Hmmm.... '06

Wasn't Locky fully fit, and didn't we have the great Webcke and Civo on song?

Let's forget '06.

As far as I am concerned there are no comparisons.

As for Wayne and the Club - people keep telling me Wayne is the greatest coach of forwards in the game, and given the recent average form of our forwards, and with Benny and such a great Club, you'd think someone could come up with a way of motivating them to find the hunger to win, the passion and commitment we so desperately need at the business end of the season.
