I would have thought staying in Brisbane with his family and closest friends (ie - already established support structure away from footy) would be the best place for him if he is feeling uncertain about things. Maybe he needs to take 6 weeks away like Hodges did and sort his shit out.

Why are these contract negotiations so public anyway? I realise that we all have interest in them to some extent, but it seems so unprofessional for Bruno to be commenting on it at all. It isn't his business to be telling the media about Hunt's current frame of mind. He doesn't have to answer every question he is asked.

My advice Bruno? Wait until it's all done, and THEN let us know how it unfolded if you're so desperate to see your name in print or get your mug on TV.

I am not all that fussed he isn't now either just pointing out the fact Bruno's constant Storm bashing last year whilst tabling the guy contract offers was never going to help our chances to get the guy whether you wanted him or not. I just hate the way Bruno is always talking in the media about football related issues (ie.player injuries, gameplans etc) when it isn't his department, also hate how he and other CEO's talk publicly about contract negotiations as I am sure it doesn't help the matter at all.

But that's the thing MB - the Broncos never tabled an offer to Bellamy - they didn't want him and he didn't want to come, so it was a pretty quick (non-existent) negotiation process. He did however publicly create the idea that he was considering the Broncos job in order to up his price at Melbourne - no surprise Bruno was bashing them.

But anyway, this topic is about Hunt - so whatever he does, I just hope that he makes a decision soon so that he can just get back to concentrating on this season on the field.
