In regarding NSW based clubs....it's all about tribalism. It's one of their many defiant arguments after SOO rolls around and they say they don't care

Until Rugby League consistently attracts 'good' crowds then I don't think we can consider our game tribal.

The closest any club has gotten to becoming tribal is the Dragons really, and even then, it's fairly pitiful.

after "simply the best", "tubthumping" has been the best song the NRL has ever had IMO.

couldnt agree more - tubthumping was catchy and it fitted lyrically

same for hoodoo gurus, that's my team

i am not afraid to admit i love bon jovi and always have, but i just don't think 'this is our house' was a good fit - to me it was too slow and and a bit monotone

The new promotional song should be something fast, furious and electric, something to get you pumped and fired up. Some of the promos in the last few years have been slow and don't mix with fast moving Rugby League, the one from 2009 especially (bloody hell I hated it).
