Club Statement: Tesi Niu

Although regardless of race, he WAS breaking the law, let’s not forget that little chestnut. He has no one to blame but himself.
I’ll start giving a shit when the guys charged with stick driving are properly dealt with by the IU; or when the bloke that breaks into houses who’s victims are paid off and the NRL are lied to are reprimanded; or the coach that gets into a altercation with a punter is dealt with and not just all these cases are swept under the carpet until a coach and ex-bronco get into a scuffle as 2 mates to take the attention away.

That’s when I will start giving a shit, however I don’t see that happening anytime soon while that pedo-looking **** PVL is in charge who cares more about turning this into WWE with the scripted outcomes than anything that is good for the game.

Great rant and I agree with it all but not sure what it has to do with my post.

Season Launch tonight at Fortitude Music- everyone home by 10!

Looks like we’re forfeiting round 1 with too many stand downs.

So, an RPU mate said it definitely will tell you if the registered owner is disqualified as well as wanted for things like warrants.
I was originally just saying how dumb do you have to be to attract attention when you've run out of points. Dumb ***** would still drive the car REGISTERED in their name but if you were in a different vehicle the chances of a law abiding citizen (not attracting attention) being caught are quite low. I didn't dispute with anyone that police have computers and know how to use them.

I do my best to avoid those by using rat-runs. I’m not in a massive city, though they do happen here regularly.
I don't think I've been through an RBT station thing in years, although maybe far more common in NSW. I think I've been through one twice in over 10 years, they seem pretty rare.

Yeah fair point I went off track from what I had intended to respond to your post with, sorry.

Of course it's his fault. Just pointing out that he wouldn't have had to have been driving erratically or breaking road rules to catch the attention of the Cops.

So you are saying the cops deliberately looked in his (possibly tinted) windows and decided, hmm that guy looks possibly black, I reckon we pull him over?

I haven’t had an RBT since 2013. Before that, I’d had only the one in 2001.

I’ve done a lot of driving, too. There’s merit in what Huge says. Don’t drive like a dickhead and if your car is a sleeper (visually), you’ll have no problems. Don’t wear a hoodie or beanie or even a hat is my theory. Keep your car clean and and looked after and stick to the road rules. Pretty bloody simple.
I am 40 and I have never had one. In saying that, I don't really drink.

Foxsports reporting Tesi will go to court on a serious driving charge.......... oh and he's been training at centre 🙄

Yes. Correct. Exactly what I am saying.

I wonder what's a not serious driving charge then.
Everything is not a serious driving charge as long as your not playing for the Broncos but if you are than Everything is a serious driving charge.

Club Statement: Tesi Niu Court Appearance

Brisbane Broncos player Tesi Niu today received a $400 fine and six-month license suspension after appearing in court for unlicensed driving.

Broncos Interim CEO Neil Monaghan said the club would now work with the NRL Integrity Unit to finalise the matter.

“We all make mistakes but we expect better from our players and Tesi knows he has done the wrong thing,” said Monaghan.

“Road safety is a very important issue across our community and everyone at the club needs to respect that and obey the laws.”
