I could see him retaining his wing position next year if we end up losing Hoffman to Raiders / Dogs.

This is really central to the issue. If we have Hoffman and/or Boyd, his viability on the wing is diminished due to their respective capabilities. If either /both are elsewhere, he's certainly one of our better options.

Don't see Hodges at fullback next year. Great player that he is he may well go the way of Civo. I don't see Boyd coming either as he costs too much and is still contracted to the Carniggits....

Vidot could be dropped as soon as we have a winger that can actually finish imo. While his kick returns are absolutely fantastic, along with his hitups, he is probably the worst winger in the nrl in regards to finishing a try. Look at ANY other game that doesnt involve the broncos and u will see wingers doing some amazing acrobatics to finish tries. Nightingale, morris, Fusitua, Mansour, Nofoluma, Waqa etc all can score with only millimetres to work with by usually jumping out of the field and getting the ball down mid air. None of our wingers can do this at all. Makes a huge difference when you can score a try from nothing, whereas we really need to give Vidot an open passage to the line (and even then he drops it as we have seen multiple times this year)

Sorry dudes, but if this permanent move to fullback for Hodgeo talk is true, it'll either be Milford or Barba that takes up that 4th bench spot, which I find staggering.

He wont be at fullback next year, and if he is someone else will be there after the first month once his body has packed it in from the extra workload, so the point is kinda redundant

The bloke has been one of our best this season and completely turned his career around. He came here as a cheap 'chance' signing, and in my eyes, he's been one of our top three players this season.

So fucking what if he's not as nimble as some of those other wingers out there. So what if he drops the ball once or twice a match. He's a fucking champion. Watching him absolutely steamroll Widdop was one of the highlights of this season. Too bad Gus and Rabs were too busy chatting about some irrelevant shit at the time, otherwise we'd be watching replays of that all weekend. Motherfucking badass son of a bitch.

Ease up on my man, Vidot. He's giving his all for the team and deserves some respect.

And **** moving him from the wing. What's with this sudden craze of moving everyone to the backrow? I know it's a popular opinion on here to do just that with Vidot, but **** it. Leave him on the wing, he'll improve.

Vidot is probably the best purchase Gee made at the club. He's been solid and consistent. He drops a ball from time to time, but hell, Thaiday became captain doing far worse with his hands than Vidot, so it's not all bad.

I'd keep him over Hoffman every day of the week.

At the start of the season he looked a little shy or timid or whatever but now he looks part if the team. I'm actually quite surprised how dangerous he looks now he's getting the ball. Will be interesting to see what Wayne does with him

The best part was he didn't even try to use footwork or evasion. He just looked up, saw it was just one defender, and spooled up like a jet engine. Gave me a footy chub.
