Who can honestly say...For sure he is drunk, he is a massive alcoholic saw him a couple of years ago in front of the Star in Sydney and he was completely blind, couldn't even stay on his feet quite funny actually.
That's because they think scoring tries equals entertainment, what the NRL doesn't realise is tries scored on the back of 11 vs 13 or multiple set restarts and pummeling one team are just hollow. The game isn't coming back from this. Rules are in now and this is how they'll stay. Will always support the Broncos but not keen to watch the game in it's current format.
You can pretty much be assured that any game involving a top 4 vs bottom 8 will get **** all viewers... you can probably expand that out to top 4 vs anyone else. That's because they think scoring tries equals entertainment, what the NRL doesn't realise is tries scored on the back of 11 vs 13 or multiple set restarts and pummeling one team are just hollow.
The victories aren't earnt, it might be a novelty now for some viewers but that will wear off, most of the games now just all look the same and its becoming dull rather fast.
The irony is they got rid of the nines, partly due to lack of interest, yet it’s basically what the game has now become. That's because they think scoring tries equals entertainment, what the NRL doesn't realise is tries scored on the back of 11 vs 13 or multiple set restarts and pummeling one team are just hollow.

Taumalolo is falling into it thoughBrilliant! Ten in the bin for striking out with the tongue.
Think the RLPA proved this week who is on V'landys payroll.
They have made the concussion issue political, the real issue is low tackles not head highs.Insufferable ***** like Kent, Hooper and Crawley don't need much of an excuse to go to war with the RLPA and the players in general. You only need to see what happened between Hooper and the Canberra players to know what those two camps think of each other under the skin.
I will always be 100% behind the players, because 1. they aren't on fucking Newscorp's payroll and 2. they actually push passes rather than pencils, so they are far more qualified to have an opinion on the subject.
This is exactly right. They have made the concussion issue political, the real issue is low tackles not head highs.
These clowns who haven't played a game of football, thinking V'landys is the messiah because he saved the game when every single sport in this country has survived Covid even the A-league which was on it's last legs even before covid happened. it makes me sick how obviously bias these clowns are, the paper bags are in clear sight.
The only real solutions that have come through i have seen have been the limitations on contact training like the NFL, I fully agree with this as would most people, they think they can guilt trip people into thinking the insignificant part of what creates concussions being heavily scrutinised is the only way to stop it but its all false.
Look at Jake friend the most recent and notable player in the last 10 years to retire purely from head knocks, his last few head knocks all came from him tackling not being clobbered with the ball high, it's fucking crickets when you try bring this up to these frauds.
I say again - volenti non fit injuria. This is exactly right.
The numpties gargling Vlandys balls spend all their time calling out high tackles (which have ALWAYS been illegal) as the main culprit for concussions when its just not true.
Gus came out 2 weeks ago and tried to point it out that most head knocks in the game come from a defender tackling low and colliding with the hips/legs of the player.
Of course there is accidental contact, its a contact sport, and accidents will happen, you will NEVER remove accidental head contact from the game, and those will lead to concussions as well.
Short of turning the game into touch footy, the NRL are going about this all wrong.
They need to to enforce a known risk policy.
If you decide to become a first grade NRL player, you accept the risk that comes with the giant pay check.
Of course the game will still do its best to prevent unnecessary damage, but you will never remove it from the game, especially when the "best" players in the game are falling into tackles Tedesco style.
The latest scumbag move from Vlandys mafia is to push Mortimer out as the face of dementia, in order to further their narrative.
They asked Mortimer if he thought the head knocks were the reason for his dementia and he said he was certain that was the case, even though Mortimer is NOT a fucking doctor and the leading cause of dementia is "AGING".
People who become cops, or join the Military, know that joining those occupations brings with it a potential risk of injury or death in the line of duty.
The same with professional race car drivers and MMA fighers.
All of these occupations carry a potential risk of serious immediate injury and long term injury, yet we dont hear of the UFC, the Army, the Police or Formula One getting sued for CTE issues.
Apologies for the long winded rambling post, but it has got to the point where the game is being fucked over by men who have no right to be calling the shots, under the guise of caring for peoples wellbeing when in reality they are terrified of being sued and losing their cheddar, nothing more.

I had to google that, but that is exactly what is needed here.I say again - volenti non fit injuria.
The defence has always been available.
This is exactly right.
