Speedster Denan Kemp is returning to Brisbane after a lean NRL season with the Warriors in which his try scoring talents dried up.

After scoring 20 tries in Bronco colours in 2008, Kemp crossed just once in 10 games for the Warriors during a frustrating season in which he struggled to find his best form.

He successfully negotiated a release from the final year of his contract with the Warriors and Brisbane are more than happy to throw him a one year lifeline in a bid to rekindle his career.

With international fullback Karmichael Hunt leaving next year to play AFL, Kemp, 22, could prove a handy and pick up for Brisbane who've unearthed exciting wing prospects Jharal Yow Yeh and Antonio Winterstein.

Winterstein, who will clash with his childhood hero Wendell Sailor on Saturday night, has played every game this year on the right wing.

Kemp is a specialist winger but he played a handful of his 28 games in 2008 at fullback for the Broncos and he could be a handy recruit until the likes of teenager Josh Hoffman grow into the No.1 jumper.

Well he did go off the boil big-time Nashy, lets see if he still has it first before signing him for longer, plus the Warriors may still be paying him some of his contract for next season with us simply topping it up

Rumours are Kemp was so keen to come back he signed for next to nothing. WHen he plays well next season he will be signed up on a long term contract. Kemp won't leave again he knows better.
