The biggest issue is that he's played his entire career at the Broncos.
He doesn't know any way of doing things other than what he's experienced here.
I'd much prefer him coach 2-3 Superleague/QRL teams prior to even being an assistant here.
So what, Guardiola played his entire career at Barcelona.
He went from player to head coach with a very short stint as assistant and they are now only the best club team in the world!

Yes but that's soccer. Rugby league is an infinitely more strategic and skilful game with far more factors to consider than just kicking a ball back and forth for 90 minutes.

You need to lay off the [icon_drun mate! [icon_lol1.

I love RL, and consider it the better game for it's pace, excitment factor and courage on the field. But seriously, skill and tactics in soccer is so much more complex, it's not funny!

Soccer fan! :-p

I can see both sides. I can see benefits of Locky experiencing other clubs in a coaching capacity. I can see benefits with him serving his apprenticeship with the Broncos.

Either way, minimum 5 year apprenticeship before first grade.

Are you baiting or completely ignorant?

He was baiting, which he showed by his response above

"Fish for dinner" or whatever it was.

Last forum warning. The next will be proper warnings. On topic.

No but if he wants a challenge which he has stated, Newcastle is the bigger challenge than Souths IMO.
