City pull off the treble in Pens is my prediction. Don’t want it to happen but I think it will. Although Inter have history in there favour - they have a Croatian in their team.
Is it though? Taking into consideration the amount of cash they have spent on transfers and wages, which has led to them having incredible depth.Outstanding achievement to win a treble.
Great isn't it. Due a payrise too thanks to UCL qualification
If new owners are Qatari could see thatFrom the reports I've been reading, Man United are willing to chip in for his salary to get him to leave.
I don't imagine he's going to be here by the end of the transfer window.

I'm only surprised they haven't won more than what they have so far.

happening, but if it's SJR and Glazers wouldn't be so confident.
The fact he still keeps getting picked for England hurts us in a sense. If Southgate tells him he needs to play more in order to be selected, he may actually go.
Agreed. I don't think they ever really wanted a full sale either unless they could play the 2 against each other to get the stupid money from Qatar. The bids are stupid money but not stupid enough for the Glazers to actually leave. The Quatari's will be out of the deal by next week i reckon. The Glazers dont really want to lose their cash cow. Ratcliffe is their best hope but he simply doesnt have the finances to put into United with the investment they need imo.
I dont think United are going finish as high as this season either without 2 or 3 serious players. The competition for the top 6 places is going to be a lot closer. Liverpool and Chelsea arent going to be as poor as this year. Arsenal should get a bit better with only 1 or 2 players. Same with Newcastle. Spurs are probably the dark horse if Ange gets them to click. Going to be an interesting off season for the scumbag 6 of the premier league. Citeh i still dont see anyone challenging them. One good player every year for them is going to keep them ahead of everyone else.

Sir Jim will win the bid and they'll spend big to appease the fans right off the bat, but history shows the money will likely be spent poorly once again.
Agree on the other part too. Liverpool will be better you'd think (they need more signings too), Chelsea can't possibly be that bad again and have no Europe and then there's Spurs under Ange and Newcaslte now with UCL to spend for.
The top 4 race in prem is insane. Basically City winning for the foreseeable future and 6 teams fighting for 2nd through 4th.
Spending large doesn't guarantee you success, with that in mind it is a great achievement.
I think the spending argument is just disgruntled Man U and Liverpool fans. Teams with the money win the titles. That is football. In the 80s and 90s they had the most money and paid the money to win. City spent some money to set up and challenge but last few years show they have recruited better and not spent as much Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea.I think its a fantastic achievement considering its only been done once before. People always go on about their spending, but their net spend in the last 5 years is below all of their main rivals and even below West Ham, Wolves and Villa. They have just been too smart in the market and too good on the field.
My issue is not that they spend lots of money. My issue is they do it under the table, claim they are legit, and then when they're found breaching it 100 times... they kick up a stink and put the FA into legal purgatory, basically.I think the spending argument is just disgruntled Man U and Liverpool fans. News coming out that the Qatari investors bid to buy Man United has been successful.
It's a Qatari news outlet so take it with a grain of salt.
