As for Lowe, I think you're selling his loss short, Freaky. If he's gone, they'd have to play Coen Hess on the right fringe. Hess is an exciting prospect, but he's still adjusting to the NRL standard and struggles for consistency. If he's asked to step up, then they'd have to bring somebody into cover him. Unfortunately I think the only choice they have is Ben Spina and he isn't as dynamic as Lowe.

I'm not Ethan's biggest fan, but I think he's been one of the form backrows this year and he's the one player I'm expecting big things from on Friday.

Yeah, maybe I am. He does have that right side combo with Morgan.

Is Asiata injured? I was thinking he would just come in and he would still be a danger, along with Hess who can provide good impact off the bench with his size and strength.

I think Asiata and Hess could be dangerous on the right side, especially since our left side defence is our weakest link.

Mad points for honesty Freako. The Broncs will have to do much better yet for me to truly believe in them like I did last year.

I know it is a hard game to play but you would think most fellas on the team should know how to do their jobs right by now.

But I suppose even the best laid plans go to hell as soon as the first shot is fired. I really admire Melbourne for their ability to constantly perform to such a high standard even if they cut some corners and get away with it.

Kahu is not bad option in right centre position. It will be very interesting how kahu played in centre position. Kahu got good footwork and passing game. I am sure he will pass more football to jonus Pearson as compare to James Robert. Let see how right hand side perform tomorrow night.

EDIT: Pete Badel confirms Lowe's season is over with spinal injury. Woop for the Broncos. Less woop for injuries.

Just wondering as well if the Cowboys have ever lost a final in Townsville?

I think we can beat them. The Cowboys looked out of ideas against the Storm. Not sure if it's down to the conditions or Melbourne's great defence or if opposition teams have them worked out.

I think our style of play can really frustrate them. If we cut down our errors (still way too many unforced errors for my liking), and put pressure on Morgan and Granville, we'll get them.

Ethan lowe will have neck surgery. Coen hess comes into the starting side. Tautau moga and young gun kalyn ponga could replace winterstein


i think the outs in the outside backs for both teams kind of even themselves out there.
