Game 2 ********SPOILERS*********

Shirt stayed on tonight but only coz we had 2 chicks making up our 4 seats lol. Sorry if it sounded like i was acting like a massive **** to ur fellow blues. I just dished it out as much as was warranted and no more

It is cool don't apologise. I just don't like when people do it too me as I never do it to others. I don't know if Bree can remember any but I am sure there has been a few where I have snapped back at the dickheads.

I think there is a limit to how far someone can go and obviously from your original post it sounded like you where being a bit over the top (in a dickhead way) but obviously not enough to get handshakes and congrats from rival supporters or maybe supporters who just brushed it off as alcohol fueled banter.

Maybe im just a fuddy duddy who just likes to keep my emotions to myself or people I know when it comes to banter.

Finally back from the game. What an effort!!!

At the game, i didn't realise we had all these injuries and i was fuming at how some of the boys were making a load of mistakes and low percentage plays.

Sam Thaiday looked awesome out wide. Our whole backline combined well. The forwards were just top shelf.

For those last 20 minutes or thereabouts, i thought NSW were certain to score. They had so much possession and field position. That was some inspirational defending to keep them out.

Let's make it five in a row next year!

Also, credit to Willie Tonga.

It's not easy coming back into the Origin arena after so long out, but he was ace.

Oh and I reckon just a solid game from Ashley Harrison in game 3 should assure him the Wally Lewis medal.

Agreed. I love the way he's combining with Thurston and Inglis on the left side. And the way he chips away at the defence, to allow Inglis and Thurston to really dominate that left side of the field.

IMO, he should be in the Australian side at the end of the year. Definitely deserves it more than Watmough or Stewart.

Lockyer was solid. I really do think age is playing a part now. I think a performance like tonight is what we should be more than happy with. All 17 should be proud. Arguably the best win in the modern era. Absolutely brilliant. Tackled ourselves to a stand still.

BTW, what a legend Lockyer is. I know again people will say he was quiet, but the touches he had were crucial.

I agree Coxy - I thought he was enormous in defence, his stats probably say he missed a few tackles but they sent plenty of traffic his way and he rose to the challenge and kept knocking them down.

Actually, I think Lockyers stats said he didn't miss a tackle, which I find hard to beleive, but yes, it was one of the best defence games I've seen him play. Thurston was also above his usual defence tonight too.

I thought the judiciary handled all reports from the game later on in the night. Do they still do this? Surely we wouldve heard something if they do

Yeah he's been charged. 2 weeks if he pleads guilty, 3 if he challenges and loses.

Talk about getting off soft. Takes out our best player and only gets 2 weeks. I hope inglis plays game 3 and barret is there so he can be part of the whitewash

Yeah a grade 1, what the hell is a grade 5 decapitation?

Well assuming Barrett gets the 2 weeks, he'll be available for Origin 3.
He'll miss this weekend's game against the Roosters, and then next round...team is named after that.

My 2 cents worth.

Lockyer was my man of the match, I think they just played him back in to form. He encompassed QLD passion and pride.

Israel Folau played the best game I've ever seen from him, and am surprised more people haven't commented. His initial break down the field was epic, to keep running for an extra 10m with Hayne & Gidley trying to pull him down was awesome. He just tried all night. His defence was up to scratch also. Hopefully a watershed game for him.

The refs. Yes, they annoyed me too. I am perplexed. Bill Harragan I understand, he was on the take, but that was archer's worst performance, how he missed the Creagh & Monahan touches on the ball I'll never know.

Billy Slater, was he one of the sick ones? He was tired after the first 5 minutes and was not playing his usual game. I really wanted Karmichael to switch to fullback, he wouldn't have thrown the intercept pass, he would've put it on the toe for Izzy to score in the corner. Oh well.

Robbie Farrah, went into his shell after Cameron Smith owned him in the first few plays. Lol, nice "tackle" on Izzy also to bust through the line. What a myth.

Barrett should be in prison for that assault on Inglis. (OK I'm exaggerating) He even had a few words to say to Inglis as he was hitting him. I'm also annoyed that he won't be playing game 3, he was one of the reasons I'm so excited to go to the game. Very, very disappointed if he is out.

Credit to our whole team for playing through injuries and winning. I've never wanted to be a part of a NSW crowd before, but seeing our boys run over to the QLD speccies brought a tear of pride to my eyes. What a moment to remember, Thurston looked like he'd won the lottery, it was something I'll also remember.

Lastly, 3 origin series's in a row Lockyer has scored from a NSW poor pass....and it never get's old. Lockyer, I love you.

Firstly, Congratulations QLD on four in a row.
I spent the whole night shouting at the TV to take Wolfman off. I've been telling everyone who will listen that nobody would even know his name if he didn't have the beard, and last night he proved that he's an average club winger at best.
Jarryd Hayne is a freak, and totally committed. I wish half the team played with his enthusiasm.

+1 on these points.

Izzy was great. And as you all know I'm a bit critical of him. He showed a running game which I really hadn't seen from him in his career to date.

I hope you're right, I hope he sees last night as a turning point and goes looking for the ball in attack more.
