Yep, this game is going to be a complete embarrassment for NZ.

Hoffman a rep 5/8th. haha haha lol omg. how hasn't anyone in the media not been critical of his abysmal playmaking skills. will the broncos now upgrade his contract too? this guy is unbelievable

This could work out great for us if he is slammed big time. They'd be better off playing Beale/anyone else there.

We can only hope he completely falls apart so more people can bag him and really force Griffindor's hand.
Really though, SBW would be a far better option.

Well, it worked last time. The Kiwis played Hoffman at fullback and had to drop him when they saw he lacked any ball-playing skills. That seemed to make Josh realise that he's not as perfect for the positioned as he hoped. It may work similarly in the #6, he'll realise how out of his depth he is, concede that he's just a finisher. One of the best finishers mind you, that's nothing to be ashamed of.

Hopefully he'll get injured for 2 weeks and Griffin will be forced to make a change then he can come back to the wing after he's lost the 6

It looks like SBW wont even be playing apparently he will be boycotting the game... Nothing has changed with this guy, it is still all about him, what an unprofessional act.

Yet everybody still thinks he is Gods gift to rugby league. This guy is the most selfish person in our game and for some reason everyone lets it slide. Imagine if he was a Bronco haha

I've never wished an injury on a player, but he went down a couple of weeks ago and I actually said out loud "Yes!", purely for that reason, forcing Hook to make a change, and giving someone else a chance that might actually pass the ball.

Hoffman in the halves

Wow Kearney is an idiot Foran, Johnson and Hohia are far better options and Kearney is kidding himself if he thinks that Hoffman is the best option.

Their halves pairing should be Foran/Johnson without doubt.

Foran is out for a month.

Well, it would be, but Foran is injured.

I should've read the article before posting I just read it and found out that Foran is injured. I thought that Kearney was willingly going to put him there.

Still if Hoffman is the best 5/8th that they've got then they are in trouble.

I've signed him up for us in Career mode in Rugby League Live 2.

Read the article again. He's not the best 5/8th they've got. He's about 3rd choice, 4th choice if they go and get someone from England.

The funny thing is, the Kiwis have a fairly recent past of playing make-shift five eigths at this level.

The list includes...

Tony Kemp
Vinnie Anderson
Willie Talau
Sione Faumuina
Jerome Ropati
David Solomona
Henry Fa'fili

Heck, the Kiwis won the 2005 Tri Nations with Nigel Vangana at five eigth. A 2005 Vangana!

Josh is in good company.

Maybe Benji will sign this week and get named at 6 for the Kiwis? Haha that would be ridiculous

I see NZ are doing what looks like a little reverse psychology on SBW.
