Not really.

He's got pace in his favour, that's about it.

Runs sideways far too much for my liking. His defence is overrated IMO. Can't pass well at all and he is a rather poor decision maker when an opportunity presents itself.

You're entitled to it. I don't think he's a superstar by any means, and a mile off Origin. But all in all I thought he proved a more than capable first grade centre at the start of last season.

This season he's taking time to find his feet, but that's to be expected after a knee recon.

FWIW, I also wouldn't say he's nailed down a spot in the backline either.

I'm calling it now, the Broncos to plat an extra forward (Sims after his last game [icon_razz1 ) at halfback and Wallace at fullback where he would just play halfback in attack anyway. [icon_lol1.

Chances of getting him are slim to none... He wouldn't be cheap either.

Michaels would have played origin last year if it wasnt for his injury. Boyd jumped him and hasnt looked back.

I rate Michaels over Boyd. I will be interested to see how boyd goes this year. I think he has been made to look good in the past by quality teammates.

Michaels reminds me a lot of Brent Tate, dam fast, powerfull, not the best decision making if cornered with out room, horribly injury prone, and importantly rep material. I rate the guy for an origin wing spot if he stays fit. Watch him this week, look at his pace and remind yourself he's coming back from a knee recon... in a few months he will be on fire.

He would've played Origin last year instead of Boyd if he didn't get injured.
