Intrust Super Cup Discussion - 2017

Its not the errors that will irk Wayne about the sort of thing he did today, it will be the one percenters like him not chasing inside even if he had no chance anyway. Its all about the attitude. I'm sure he will pick it up.

Five ineffective tackles
Three errors
Two penalties
Two missed tackles
Two try causes

Amongst

13 runs
139m
One line break
Six tackle breaks
1 try
Three off-loads
14 tackles

Typical Ipswich, all flair and no gumption.

Jets made 51 more tackles
Missed 15 less than Souths
23 less ineffective tackles too

That's against a team that has scored 22 tries in the last three weeks before this game.

He was the one who actually lost the ball for his "try" wasn't he?

Wow seriously 1910, I respect most your posts but jumping on a teenager and one who has achieved what he has is a bit rich. I was at the game and there was a lot of talk about him and the positives in his game and anyone could see he's got something special. You said he didn't chase in the purcell try yet looking back at highlights, looks like it was Fai and the 11. I've never seen you write a stat of try causes? The kid also started 2 tries maybe you should add them in stats. Come on mate.

Souths were on the wrong end of a few 50/50 calls and Ippy was also awarded a dubious try, not to mention handed two.

What have souths and Sua ever done to you... tongue in cheek mate, tounge in cheek.

Ease up, he's a Bronco so he is open to discussion and of interest to some of the people that read this. If you don't talk about Joe, Fai and Su'A who else are you going to talk to Broncos' fans with?

Just putting up he scored a try doesn't help anyone. I quite clearly posted his good stats too. Absolutely no point looking at one side.

Try causes is there every week. Doyle had three but he's not a Broncos so not much point highlighting it.

Queensland Residents picked Sunday night.

I'd say Souths' forwards in contention. Queensland were really disappointing last year. They got the week all wrong.

Arrow will need replacing.

Croft out- Laybutt in.

Croft will be in another team on Sunday.

We have a fairly decent presence in that side.

Great achievement from Opacic to make that side considering that he has only played 4 games. He is far too good for that comp, he will be in the Bronco lineup sooner rather than later, maybe even against Manly.

Don't think Opacic will be a long term full-time centre for us. Just a fill in until someone like Shibasaki is ready.

Tries for Fai, Opacic and Pearson in the Redcliffe vs Magpies game.

Didnt go today, but told by somebody who did all our boys were fairly strong performers. Sounds like Redcliffe are going to take some stopping this year.

Did hear Bennett was going to watch them today, don't know if he actually did though.
