He keeps going the way he is he'll be our fullback in 2020 if not next year( hopefully)
The chooks can't offer him that.

I'd have to respectfully disagree Port on Boyd. I think that managing the game would be his strength if it was a given that Milford was the creative and impulsive partner. For mine Boyd would largely take a backseat in attack only stepping up on the fifth (or fourth) tackle and choosing where to kick to, type of kick, run or dink in behind, that sort of thing. Boyd in his last stint as a 5/8 from memory was required to be both creator and manager and it wasn't ideal for him but as strictly a manager of final set movements he I believe, would excel.
As much as I defer to WBs great wisdom I tentatively agree with your last line. It's likely WB is right and Boyds best imput currently is from fullback and perhaps he also thinks if Isaako gets that spot in 2020 he'll truly appreciate it and more importantly have earned it. The steel (calmness, determination and concentration under stress) Isaako is showing when taking shots at goal and the previously unseen sublime balance and footwork in that stunning match sealing try recently are I believe great pointers to an elite level footballer in his early days.Im guessing the thinking would essentially be to use Boyd as Hornby and Milf as Soward (without the kicking game) and Isaako as a poor mans Lockyer. Free Knik up to be hooker for last 50 minutes of a game to tear open tired forwards and actually provide some service from dummy half. Macca can play lock for 20 as a dual dummy half/centre defence tackling machine.
Bennett 2010 might go for it and it might actually work but 2018 sky will fall if Boyd isn’t fullback Bennett no chance.

A coffee shop in Bondi. How stereotypical.
Fast becoming a great little player. Has grown every game from speed, evasion and his goal kicking is the best we have had in long time
Rookie of the year coming his way
YES ...So can he get rookie of the year?, he played a few games last year
YES ...
The magic number is 4 games. If you play less, you are eligible
