I'm still confused about the photo being recent.
If real I don't think it's a big deal but it is just another reason to wonder where our club is headed.

Dylan Napa photos were old. Nothing happened there . So nothing to worry about I would think. More concerns on the pitch than off it.

Hasn’t seibold run into an absolute mess. Surely White must be feeling nervous.
I have every confidence Seibold will make good some of the problems caused by Bennett even if this season is a write off. He has been brought in to make the changes Bennett wouldn't, not maintain the status quo.

White must be feeling nervous.

why?

Firstly, the sack Bennett/hire Seibold decision was not made unilaterally. it was made by the board, of which White is only one voice (vote).

secondly the major part of his job (and where his performance is most likely going to be judged by those that matter) is the off-field success of the Brisbane Broncos empire ... and in that respect he is thriving in his role ...

i have absolutely no doubt that his position isn't even slightly on shaky ground ... in fact his job is likely one of the safest of any sporting administrator in this country

Bennett jumped a sinking ship. It’s been sinking for a few years now and if Bennett stayed we would still be getting flogged because it’s the culture of this current squad. It’ll take time to cleanse because some players only know Bennett’s way. Guys like bird will probably excel because he’s not from Bennett’s school

This kinda makes me giggle a bit. I thought Bird was supposed to be a WB signing !!!

Why, because as White has said himself, the buck stops with him.
We have won 1/4 and looking worse then ever. Add to the on field dramas, the possibilities of further off field dramas ie this Roberts photo (if proven to be recent.)

The finals game v Dragons was the final straw. If players cannot get up for a game as big as that, then there is a huge problem.
Without pointing the finger at individuals, this squad has a huge attitude problem and some have hearts the size of peas, we know who's guilty of this and I am sure they will be moved on.

Seibold needs to drop someone to stamp his authority. It’s time for changes

You can't drop someone if you don't have anyone to replace that person. The Broncos (like all clubs) have zero depth. The current team is the best possible side that can be selected from the squad of 30 and it's up to them to turn it around. Unfortunately for the Broncos, this squad isn't very good and it will be a real battle to make the playoffs this year.

It's an old photo, it was taken years ago before he was even at the club.

Storm in a teacup. Roberts has nothing to answer for. Just some fuckwits trying to take advantage of an opportunity.

You can tell by his body that its a photo when he was younger. He is certainly more ripped now than in the photo. Surprised the fuckwit journos didnt see that.

We probably need to calm down a bit, need to get a grip and hold your horses, this is probably just a storm in a tea cup, the ship isn’t sinking, the place isn’t going to the dogs, the inmates aren’t running the asylum, we haven’t got our heads in the clouds and bobs not your uncle and we need to cut the club some slack

This is just Jimmy being Jimmy, happened at 3 other clubs, has nothing to do with Bennett, Seibold or White. If it is indeed a recent photo, than he needs to sort himself out or actually face being terminated, can’t have players on what seem to be their last chance saloon publicly crowed surfing elevators pissed as a fart.

Otherwise if it’s an old photo, nothing to see here, move on and let’s call it a day

“Idioms” hey

i didn't know White was on the coaching staff ... interesting.

but as i said before there is no way the guy rated as one of the top sports administrators in the country is even remotely nervous about his job ... especially given the club is going from strength to strength off the field.

people are far too impatient and want someone to blame ... but blaming White is directing the blame at the wrong person ...

it was always going to take time, given we are trying to change our structures and style. and when fatigue sets in and we are under pressure, then muscle memory kicks in and we go back to the same old styles that haven't worked over the last decade.

you only need to look at Souths last year for evidence of this ... souths started the season with 2 wins from their first 5 games, before finishing strong and ending up in 3rd position (and 1 game away from the GF)

oh and blaming White because Roberts allegedly got on the piss at some point since he joined the club is laughable.

Actually in that situation White would cop a fair amount of the blame.

It was him that decided to give Roberts a third chance after his two indiscretions and risk the club's image. However, it does not matter anyway as it's an old photo.

White is the CEO, so ultimately, it's on him.
