Jharal Yow Yeh injury update thread

i still think it could be better for him mentally to have a run at the end of the year if the season is gone rather than wait all off season building it up in his head.

Jharal should play when he's ready. It doesn't matter how the Broncos are fairing or what date it is.

However, we should not rush him just to drop Maranta. That would be such an insult to his rehabilitation. If we want somebody to replace Maranta just throw a Qld Cup player in there.

When Jharal plays, I hope we sell the stadium out. I know I'd put just about anything on hold to go out there and support him.

Judging Yow Yeh on all the available footage leads me to believe his best bet will be 2014. Either way, I'm going to be there and I hope you, yes you, will be there too and join in my Yow Yeh chant.

Yeah saw him in the QCup last weekend. He's a long, long way away.

Going to call a spade a spade.. he was a liability in defence at centre. Was lining up on Junior Sa'u and got beaten fairly regularly. Obviously wish him all the best but there's a lot of improvement to go.

Was this due to his lateral movement being inhibited or lack of speed to keep up?
How is his speed and ability to step?

It could happen. Reed injured, Maranta dudding it up. I wouldn't be too surprised, even if I disagree with it.

One-legged JYY would still be better than Maranta (one less foot to put in to touch for instance) but I don't see it happening. Would make my heart sing to have him & Hodges shoulder-to-shoulder again. Sigh.

Baptiste didn't have the best game (no one did) but I think he really could be one of the best nrl hookers if he were given a real shot. (someone ask about Baptiste and Granville on Tuesday? I know hunt is actually doing well but we need him to relearn the halves urgently)
