It better not be the St George game as it is the only one i can't get to this year
I take no pleasure in bumping this thread for this reason, however in light of Hodgeos injury and his career being up in the air as of this moment, we have to look forward.
I think, and it is devastating for me to admit this, that we have to start coming to terms with the fact that Jharals career is over as well. He hasn't been able to hit the park for Norths recently, he continues to carry that bad limp around, and has seemingly disappeared from view over the last 4-5 months. It is a damn shame to see such a talent be wiped off the map so early in his career, but what happened in Perth was catastrophic and no amount of medical science was going to get him back to the level he needs to be at to play first grade NRL.
So there's the bitter pill. We've lost 2 superstar outside backs in the space of 2 seasons to injury. Were it not for the promising depth that we have in their respective positions, I would be banging my head against my wall until I couldn't stand upright anymore. Just shocking, shocking stuff for Hodgeo, Jharal and our club.

Apparently, Yow Yeh has been out with a broken hand
So even JYY believes he'll never play NRL again, if he's given up then it certainly doesn't look good.

People need to realise that hodges would never and could never be our starting fullback. He's on the very wrong side of 30, and he can barely make 5 dummy half runs a game without blowing out a knee or tearing his hamstring after 10 games. This is a guy who over his 14 year career has only averaged 14 games a season. His body isn't, and hasn't ever been, up to fullback as a full time position.1. Hodges (Un-injured)
2. Hoffman
3. Reed
4. Gagai
5. Yow Yeh (Un-injured)
Such a dominant back line.. If only we didn't lose Gagai and JYY and Hodgo weren't so unlucky, wouldn't even need Barba.
That headline and opening sentence are both extremely misleading - there's no quotes from Yow Yeh in the article at all, and even his manager says he hasn't heard him say such a thing.
Articles like that really fucking shit me. It's completely unnecessary.
Remind me again who was our last premiership winning fullback?People need to realise that hodges would never and could never be our starting fullback.
