This. He was never coming back as a winger and he'll never regain that speed. He is however a fairly big lad and I'm confident he'll make it back, just in the 2nd row.
 
What a stupid article. I saw and spoke to Yow Yeh yesterday and he walking around and asked him when he is going to return and how his ankle is going and he said it's going along well and he expects himself to play first grade again but he is taking his time.

Just a beat up from 2 journos trying to make a story out of nothing Ignore it.
 
Gotta love this bloke and his passion. Just an absolute legend. Was with him last Saturday night having a few bevvies and he is so upbeat about his return. He hadn't broken his hand then though. He's put on a lot of upper body weight. Will be tough(er) to handle 1 on 1. 2014!!! What a massive first game. Ill probably be balling in the stands

I hope he makes it back and I'm glad he hasn't given up. Sadly there is still a real chance he won't make it back. Only time will tell.
 
Look, I'm blindly optimistic. I think Yow Yeh will make a full return next year.

Do NOT try to convince me with logic and reason, I actually don't care. Yow Yeh will be back at 100% next year and make the Australian team.
 
The return from what I hear is a long way off. Maybe even 2015. A reliable source tells me he can hardly move after QCup games at the moment.

Of course - here's hoping my source is off the mark!!!

Wow, 2015? I really can't wait that long, I want to see JYY next year :( Go JYY for Round 1 2014! He has another 7 months between now and then, I have faith in him.
 
If Hodges is out up until origin time (roughly), I'd happily give Jharal that period of time between Round 1 - Round when origin starts to prove himself, he's got a massive break now to continue rehabbing and getting his fitness and strength back to 100%, then hopefully he'll be lining up on the right centre for the Broncos round 1 2014.

Reading this article for the first time, not even halfway down the page they have a direct quote from his twitter saying that he still hopes to be back....pretty much the exact opposite of what the article headline is implying. That's some quality journalism.

It wasn't there when the original article was written. That Twitter quote was actually a reaction to the article...
 
Well, it's still pretty stupid to insert it into the article, while keeping the original title.
