this is just some spin to get positive PR for free.

Yeah, but you also have the type of club mngmt that put clauses in their players contracts, which can only be activated by "mutual agreement", and then whinge a lot when the player wants to activate the clause...

I dunno what the procedure is but I think we should get salary cap compensation with him not counting next year yet still able to play. I would have said half or three quarters full price but we paid for two years already without him playing which should be recognized. Or at least for this year

His mum was on Triple M saying he most certainly does not have a broken hand. She said his ankle is good, he's got a slight knee concern, and is saving himself for next year.

.. but i thought i'd mention that i saw the boys at Brisbane Airport at lunchtime getting ready for their flight to Sydney.

What struck me most was how bad JYY was limping !! It looked really bad.

I hadn't seen him walk (in the flesh) since his accident, and it really struck me just how bad an injury it must have been.

Hope the poor kid can come back somehow though.
