Jharal Yow Yeh injury update thread

..."will hopefully be playing round one with the Broncos".

Barba.... Hoffman.... JYY

And on paper our halves pairing our 6/7/9 is right there with the worst. At least as far as achievements go. A rookie/unknown halves pairing and Macca who the less said about him the better.

As long as he keeps fit carrying fridges, he would be a great centre.

And spwn, I have high hopes for Hunt and Macca as their new combination (hopefully) evolves, together with Barba as an extra play maker at FB.

As for our 2nd half, well, that's still a fairly open question

JYY indicated in an interview with Al Nicholson last nite that he will be fighting fit for the preseason matches next year and his only concern is beating out Dale Copley for a wing spot. Says the ankle is feeling great.
There is plenty of awesomeness in that! :thumbup1:

I'm confused how he said a while ago that he always stepped off his left foot anyway. What, over the sideline?

A fully fit JYY would be a most welcome addition to the 2014 line up

I have always doubted it could happen, but his comments are encouraging :)

What an inspiration he is. He's going to look back on this later in life with extreme admiration of himself and his perspective. Absolute champion of a person.

Good luck to you, Jharal. We all hope you kill it in pre-season and we see you in round 1, 2014 for the Brisbane Broncos!

Why do people keep putting kahu ahead of Copley at centre. Am I missing something? Copley an absolute gun centre in Holden cup, just finding his feet in first grade on wing. Oahu has been OKAY at centre in his.... two games? Decent winger though, hopefully he gets some speed back but it's not super essential (not as much as putting balls over lines aka maranta)
