Jharal Yow Yeh injury update thread

Am I the only member here, that doesn't think JYY will make it back.

When the injury happened, I thought he will never be back in the NRL again.

The injury was too servere.

Nah mate, I've got my doubts too.

There's nobody on this forum who wouldn't 'well up' at the sight of JYY running onto Suncorp in a Broncos jersey again but I think everyone is entitled to their opinion and the longer he remains away from NRL the less likely his chances are of getting back. Good luck to him though, he's actually a bit of a hero of mine.

This injury will take years for him to even come close to his old abilities, both mentally and physically. If he wants to be back, and if the Broncos have the patients to wait possibly years for him, he will come back.

Has anyone actually seen how he was playing in qcup? I definitely don't expect him back before Hodges (assuming no serious injuries for backline players) I rate one legged yow yeh higher than maranta. It'd be pretty amazing if yow yeh and Hodges returned in the same game.

Hopefully this is all bullshit and the young fella can actually get back into first grade.

Otherwise it's one of the saddest Bronco stories i can remember

Remind me again who was our last premiership winning fullback?
remind me again how old he was then, and how many games he played at fullback. It was 7 freaking years ago! Most players only play for 10 years, it was literally almost a career ago that he played fullback in a grand final.

He'll be 32-33 when he comes back from this, if he does, has had multiple knee recons and now has ruptured both achilles, and has always been probably the most injury prone player in the game. Fullback is not for him.

nah you're far from the only one. As soon as I saw the slow mo of what happened I said "well that's his career over". He will never be able to even WALK without a limp again for crying out loud.
