Well that should fix the 'Kiwi's fullback' line that the Hoffman fans keep repeating ad nauseam...Beale, Hiku and Nightingale (at least) in front of him for the Kiwi job...

Surely Hoffman has to be in the squad somewhere. Hiku isn't much different to him in style at fullback, only less reliable. And Hoffman is surely the best winger they have.

I reckon it'll be the Bulldogs ... and they've had Perrett at fullback all year, so he wont have to worry about anyone taking his spot at the back

I don't think it'll be the Bulldogs, they'll persist with Perrett for next year and then use Sione Mata'utia for 2016 onwards. (Assuming they officially sign him before then, I think the Knights are still trying pretty hard to stop them from leaving)

More needs to be done to keep guys like Perrett, Hoffman, Dugan and god forbid, Jorris, out of fullback in the NRL. Well, unless you give them the most basic of roles, because their "ball playing" is embarassing.

You should add Boyd to that list, be a use his style is very similar to most of those players you mentioned... I.e. strong runner, good finisher, but limited ball playing ability

I'm going to say something and I fully expect to be crucified for it ... but ...

I hope Hoffman can't find a club that wants him as a fullback.

I hope he is forced to stay with us and and play wing, where he dominated for most of the 2013 season.

I hope he has a chat with Yow Yeh and realizes that wing is not a second class position, but rather a vital position to finish off backline moves and score us points.

I hope he comes to enjoy playing wing.

I hope he realizes that playing wing for the Brisbane Broncos and getting paid well to do it is better than what most people have to do for a living ...

Quality finishers on the wing is what we need.

We have centres, we have fullbacks, we have halves, but we don't have any quality finishers on the wing.
