Did you see Kodi Nikorima and Ash Taylor play on the weekend. They were outstanding, Kodi is like a Milford and Barba, electrifying quick and brings x factor. Ash reminds me of DCE a little, just competes for everything. Both have good passing games and both can kick. Hoffman has none of that....Yes they would need to work on defence but if we are scoring 30 points a game I don't care if we let a try in from time to time. If we bring one off these guys in it should affectively fixed 2 positions. 6 and the 11 (Glenn) was one of the best hole runners in the game when he got clean ball.

I think it's time to get this guy out of fullback. Yeah, he can do a nice thing once every few games that make people think he's finally back, but then he continues with mediocrity.

Swap him and Hoffman already. Hoffman is far safer under the high ball, and his kick returns are seriously better. He won't get in the way of attack as much either.

How Come Hoffman hasn't been fried by the media. I've never heard one report blasting the broncos terrible 5/8

Because his a top bloke. I'm being serious, the amount of times I have read reporters on twitter etc. say "... But he's a top bloke" in regards to Hoffman is crazy

The one thing that is really disappointing about Barba is his very average kick returns. You would think by now he would have made at least a few line breaks on kick return ,but. I can't really remember any. People keep talking about how much he bulked up since arriving ,which has slowed him down. Is that really true? I can't say I noticed any major bulking up myself , but he does seem to have lost that blitzing speed for some reason,. (As a side note I think Greg Inglis has bulked up too much and lost some speed ). I still think Barba's ankle might be the issue , if so we may have to wait til next year to see the old Barba back. I have really given up on commenting on the ludicrous decision to play Hoggman at 5/8. It's all been said .The 2014 season for the Broncos will unfortunately be remembered as the Year of the Hog!

I suppose he needed to increase the figure to give his agenda some more strength or just as another way to have a fig at as.

But as we all know when we signed Barba from the Bulldogs, it was widely confirmed by everyone (Bulldogs and Broncos management) that the terms of his first 2 years were exactly the same as his Bulldogs contract.

His 3 & 4 years may be 700k though

Was thinking the same thing watching that game. Also crossed my mind watching Sandow and how much fun he has when playing.

I'm watching Tony Williams play in the halves for the Dogs and he already looks better in the role than Hoffman.
