I remember that Bulldog game very well as it was the night Cyclone Debbie ripped through the area and shut down the power for three days. We had to dodge countless fallen trees to find a spot that had power so we could watch the game (Tewantin RSL). All that effort just to watch, like you said, one of the worst Bronco performances ever. Then we got home to find a big gum tree sprawled across our driveway and then endured a very humid night without electricity. Yep, I remember that game, it was worst night of my life.2016 we went downhill, but we improved in 2017 over the 2016 season, so we’ve kind gone up, down, then back up again...
So far we are tracking exactly the same as 2017 at the same point in terms of overall win / loss and while some might argue we have managed to win while playing worse, remember some of the losses early last year. That loss against the Bulldogs stands easily amongst the worst games we have ever played...
