No different to the rule regarding them showing game footage in their news programs. It will still have the Nine/Fox Sports watermark and graphics on it.

We're talking about Matthew Johns. HIs personality and sense of humour aren't enough to sustain a show by itself.

I started watching the Ch9 footy show last night, I lasted till the first ad-break.

If they just talked footy with a couple of segments involving players chucked in before ads (like 'Their house' with Ryan Girdler, except without the same fucking joke every week) then it would be watchable.

On another note, has anyone seen the new ad for Fox sports rugby league with Dell in it? It gave me a bit of a chuckle "There is no 'I' in 'team', but there are 5 in 'Individual Brilliance'" [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1.

Same Scotty. I thought with Sterlo back and the fact they only barely got renewed last year that maybe the show would have changed and moved on from peurile immaturity to being a show actually about footy - but no it was the same old crap.

I also say the ad for the Matty Johns show and my first thought was "Oh no - so it's going to be pretty much the same as the Footy Show and not about footy"

I might have watched it last night, but seeing the ad which confirmed Mario Fenech's return and the inclusion of Andrew Johns means another year on the sidelines for me.
