Not a happy club

Doesn't stay employed in a job for long, seems to change jobs as much as her undies, although some might have been short term contracts, either way , difficult to have an impact at a place if you only stay 1 to 2 years
She is the managing director of a sports consultancy, so reading between the lines she might regularly be given short term roles to go in assess, review and initiate change and then move on. If that is the case, that makes her even more suitable to undertake this review.

If she is the MD of a sports consultancy business you would be 100% correct, that why I touched on the short term contract thing in my post, just to cover my arse

You keep saying this like free agents are the only people available. The Bulldogs are about to sign Flanagan and he was contracted. It just isn’t the case that players are unavailable. Why has Barrett started his job already and Walters has to wait until November to officially start?

Why are we doing another review when the answers are obvious. I’d expect anyone from BHQ, except maybe yourself, to be able to pinpoint where the problems lie. This club just throws money away.

Kevvie has started too, his contract doesn't start until November 1- same as all NRL contracts for the year.

Success is success. The A league is still the top competition for that sport in Australia. Who exactly would you like to do a review?
What a shocking attitude mate. Seriously, this comes off as salty because your feminist argument fell to shit.

The A League is a joke. It'd be like getting me to do a review on the Brisbane Broncos website, because I run the next biggest one.

That’s a good point. The only people who are allowed to review the biggest club in Australian sport should be from an even bigger club, and that club should be Australian so they understand the landscape, and the club should be from the same sport so they understand the game.

you'll have to forgive my ignorance of NFL ... but aren't they one of the best?
They are the “most lucrative well supported club in the league” in theory able to attract any star they want, but arrogant ownership and poor coaching choices mean they are a laughing stock, dining out on their glory days in the 90s.
sound familiar?

yeah, your teachers definitely owe your parents a refund ... since they never taught you to read!

Flanagan is not a free agent
Flanagan is one of those players to suddenly hit the market (I talk about that in my second paragraph)
Flanagan is not someone we should worry about chasing
Yet you keep repeating that there’s nobody available. You said “there’s sfa available”. That’s what I’m disputing. It simply isn’t true. How do you think Free Agents are created? Also good work being an insulting prick when you know full well I can’t report it.

Flanagan was a free agent the moment he was getting shopped around. You reckon he just organised that Bulldogs contract within the time he was sacked? Flanagan is an example of someone who had a contract, but was available, not someone that we should be looking at. Weird that you’d even need to add that, knowing full well it wasn’t my point at all. Attempted spin, right? There is not sweet **** all available.

@Cult3 quite rightly disputed what you were saying, as your post indicates that we should only be concerned with free agents available in the market. Cult gave an example of a player who's not a free agent, who managed to get out of a contract, and sign for another club.

Reading his actual reply to you, I'm wondering if you read it, or if it's your parents getting the refund from your English teacher?

learn to bloody read .. i said there is nothing available on the free agent market, BUT IF SOMEONE BECOMES AVAILABLE THAT WE NEED, WE SHOULD BE READY TO MOVE.

Flanagan was not a player that fills a position we need. if someone of quality, IN A POSITION WE NEED, starts getting shopped around we should absolutely act ... what we should not fucking do is recruit for the sake of recruiting.

I don’t have a feminist agenda I just think gender should have nothing to do with how well someone can do a job. I’m not even salty I simply asked who he thinks should do the review if she is not the one.

I have no idea what you're reading in this thread, but you're adding a lot to it that simply isn't there, it's not a good look on you.

Cult is attempting to point out that your post talks about free agents as if they are the only option, and he pointed out that there are clearly, with evidence, other options.

you obviously struggle with your reading too, or are just troling. here is what i actually said:

so our goal for this pre-season (recruitment wise) should be to be ready to pick up a player that may suddenly hit the market.

FYI, free agents don't suddenly hit the market ... they are already fucking on the market.

😂

Anyway. Is she actually being called out for not being capable of doing it because she's a female? Who said that, call them out, cause that's pretty shit, and I missed it.

I don't know who I would personally pick, I'm not a sports administrator with the connections to know who, hell, I'm not even against this person, whoever she is. But I guess I was hoping for someone we would see the name and think "Yeah, they're going to fuckin fix this shit".

Keep going mate, because this isn't actually making myself or Cult look like idiots.

For a start I didn't ask you who you would pick and I am not sure why the person I asked needs you to answer for them. My point was to him that he is saying this person is not suitable so I would have thought it incumbent on them to provide an alternative.

I thought I had called it out already, can't remember what it was but it was about needing someone from a men's sport or some bullshit.

Fine mate I have a feminist agenda, whatever keeps you happy.
