How are they getting away with this shit. Fucking unreal. They aren't even hiding it either.I will always enjoy a good Melbourne Storm defeat.
Remember that Cameron Munster turned down 1.5M at the Dolphins for far less at Melbourne in a clear case of cap cheating.
Storm players to invest in online bookmaker owned by chairman
The NRL is set to allow a controversial proposal allowing Storm players to invest in an online betting agency owned by their chairman Matt Tripp and News Corp.www.smh.com.au

Yep I agree but I do think he's gotta dominate at rep level for multiple years to reach Smith. Some people say he's gotta dominate an Origin series but he's already done that imo, 2021 was total domination. Now he's gotta rack up the wins. At this stage if I'm picking an NRL side from scratch Smith is my first pick and Cleary #2, but it's crazy that he could well take the top spot given Smith was easily the greatest player i'd seen when he retired. Also quite possible Cleary's best is still yet to come which is nuts.Yea Cam is the only player who can honestly hold Cleary out of the number one spot but it’s purely based on longevity at this point. At some stage though, this level of success outweighs longevity - though Cleary may even out do Cam on longevity
I'm booking you all into OPSM, dead-set.
Who's going to OPSM?
Crazy to think we lost to the Panthers in a GF and our salary cap was in such a state that we lost 5 players. Meanwhile the Storm are actually improving their team after losing the grand final.
The NRL seems so crazy right now.
Penrith are crazy good. There’s never been a team this fit and strong in this league.
Even Penrith are still replacing their losses reasonably well. Papalii and Blaize are different players to Luai and JFH but they’re at least talented. We lost players and signed up replacements that are essentially depth/ Qcup players
It’s not that difficult really. Yet our club just has this obsession with talent and only talent. You’d think work ethic would have to be a consideration at some point surely.Penrith do everything better than everyone else. Even the replacements they buy in are targeted. So often I find myself thinking ahh must that’s who I wanted us to chase.
But yeah the Storm are a joke. A notes club for salary cap cheating allowed to have approved off the books betting endorsements. Ridiculous.
Penrith have just realised better than everyone else that league is a team sport, and its not just about buying a bunch of flashy and expensive players to win games by themselves. It’s not that difficult really. Yet our club just has this obsession with talent and only talent. You’d think work ethic would have to be a consideration at some point surely.

No not endorsements or direct payments. They were allowed to buy shares which is why the NRL couldn't stop it.Penrith do everything better than everyone else. Even the replacements they buy in are targeted. So often I find myself thinking ahh must that’s who I wanted us to chase.

Does anyone know the rule if Sorenson dropped the kick off. Is it still deemed to be out on the full? Not sure if it's been mentioned but when Paps kicked out from the kick off Sorenson had his foot in the air when he caught the ball. Shoukd have been a scrum to Storm.
Difficult one but still
There loophole is flipping houses, what's funny is that early on after that tigers player was looking to sign for next year they were looking at having to move players on early Nelson and Welch names were mentioned nekmint not a peep about cap pressure lolNo not endorsements or direct payments. They were allowed to buy shares which is why the NRL couldn't stop it.
Wonder how many roosters players have investments in Nick's companies?
