NRL Player Movement and Rumours 2018

Not surprised, Hayne went to the Titans for a quick easy cash grab. Watch as the Titans chase another of our players.
Dave Mead is strongly rumoured to be heading there. Whispers about Corey Allan as well.

They're becoming just as bad as the Roosters as far as leeching clubs that bring nothing to the game go.

All of those examples are where a club didn't want the player anymore and gained a benefit with a bit of cap relief, not examples of a player asking for a release and the club being forced to pay an amount they didn't agree to.

The Knights didn't want to get rid of Sims.

Even if the player asks for a release, the club still has to pay a part of his contract. It's the way it is and has been like that for a long time.

I honestly can't comprehend that Parramatta want Hayne back. They have a good thing with French and Gutherson. He can only poison the environment with his massive ego. He has not played a decent game since he returned to rugby league either. Just totally blows my mind that they are going to sign him.

If I were the Titans, I'd throw some money at Gutherson, he'd be better for them than Hayne ever was and a quarter of the price.

Hayne is likely going to the centre's.

This is actually a win for Parra.

Arthur is not the **** around type of coach. If Hayne isn't doing his job, he won't accept it like all of the other coaches did.

They won't be a side to be taken lightly next year. Hayne, Gutherson, French, Moses, Norman, Jennings. That's a pretty potent back line.

Wonder how Norman will respond after having the ‘biggest ego’ title taken off him

Parra deserve that egomaniac.

Ugh...imagine all the hype for round 1.

Wonder who will be more despised on the GC. Hayne or DCE?

I think DCE still has the edge. They always knew Hayne would be a year-to-year proposition (I hope).

Titans should be thankful, they dodged a cancerous bullet!

IF they are smart enough not to pay most of his salary. Hard to believe that none of us probably thought the Titans could be dudded more than they were by DCE (who is probably now extremely happy he is no longer public enemy number one on the coast).

I mean let's look at the facts: DCE dudded them and they lost Sezer but gained Taylor AND they never lost any money for it.

Hayne has taken between 1.5 and 2 million dollars, has given them nothing but trouble, been toxic to the playing group, got the coach sacked (though this is actually a good thing) and been an absolute prima donna, plus has barely been reserve grade standard mostly.

Its Arthurs death warrant. He will be sacked next year and Hayne will be around the centre of it.

I would almost feel sorry for the Titans if they didn't keep poaching our young guys...but they do, so I don't feel sorry for them.

He will take his ball to the Gold Coast. Parramatta will surely have to lose someone. They don't all fit

They'll bring him off the bench so Channel 9 can do the same thing they did with SBW when he returned to the Roosters. Epic voiceover from Hayne trying to describe his feelings and emotions :barf:
