NRL Players and family members in hot water

The start to the NRL season has been rocked by yet another pre-season scandal with Manly star recruit Apisai Koroisau charged with illegally entering a property in Sydney's eastern suburbs. The Manly Sea Eagles hooker allegedly entered a Bondi property without the consent of the owners at 9.30pm on December 20.
Koroisau's matter was mentioned briefly before Waverley Local Court on January 25 but he did not make an appearance. He is due before Waverley Local Court on February 17.
He is formally charged with entering inclosed land at Chambers Avenue without a lawful excuse.

The NRL Integrity Unit is aware of the matter.
This latest incident comes after Sydney Roosters co-captain Mitchell Pearce was filmed performing a drunken lewd act on a dog while eight NRL players were stood down from Queenland's State of Origin team for a year after breaking curfew following an Emerging Origin camp.
The uncertainty surrounding Koroisau comes after back up rake Jayden Hodges was ruled out for the season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament at the Auckland Nines on Sunday. While utility Jamie Buhrer was ruled out for three matches after breaking his jaw.

So what has Koroisau done here. Swimming in the neighbors pool without consent, jumping the fence to get a tennis ball, fishing off someones pontoon or something really bad here??

if it is going to court, you would think he has done something to piss someone off

Good.

I wanna see Parcell play 80 a game!

I have done it numerous times in the past, when looking for a rental, albeit only if no one is living there...

May not be the same thing here, but how far can these paparazzi go?

Yeah, lets blame everyone EXCEPT the player. He's broken to law, he shouldn't play.

Although I'm sure you didn't do it at 9:30pm

His wife died a few months back. His head is probably not on straight right now.As long as what he has done isn't too bad he should be allowed to play or if he needs help he should get it.

Not sure exactly what this means, but there's definitely more to the story..

I would say the words 'is infinitely more delicate and complicated than anyone can imagine' kind of intrinsically implies there's more to the story. ;)

Considering the circumstances of this young man's life, which it has been hinted at relating to in someway, I don't think this needs to be played out in the public eye. I'll trust the club and the NRL to react as needed, and hopefully the media (including us as a facet of social media) can leave this one alone.

Yeah, good luck with that...

I mean it's wishful thinking but surely a line should be drawn somewhere. Ethical sports journalism is rare as rooster teeth though.

I'm sure there are plenty of lowlifes in the NRL who love to leak stuff so they can feel important too... but yeah, Aussie journalism is getting to the same gutter level as its British counterpart.

Well **** it looks like I may have wasted a draft pick on Koroisau. Luckily I have Parcell.
