Yeah well off guy, they've been split for a while now, she was in his house still, he went to get the keys back and he's facing assault for a scratch. I don't know the full story, but it sounds like a load of shit to me. If he really did have any intention of hurting her it would be much worse than a scratch. The thing with this, is he works as an ambassador for areas such as domestic violence, so the most damaging way to get back at him would be to try to get him accused of exactly that. It destroys his credibility (he's already been stood down) and reputation for the very field he works in. It might be true, but court date is set for Feb 1st next year, so until then the allegations stand. Hopefully if he's innocent he is reinstated and back paid for his work.Alleged scratch... It's probably another topic for another day, but society these days seems to be "guilty until proven innocent" even though the foundation of our legal system is the opposite of that.
