From what I have seen of him, his defence seems pretty good. He has good instincts and uses them in the way he tackles. He isn't GI but then, who is.

I agree with that. He is a decent player but is not the messiah many here are making him out to be.

You can't base that on anything though. We have seen what he's like with his head in the game, there is no reason 2014 will be any different.

The Dally M awards are flawed......I wouldn't use them as evidence.

Barba has got a lot to prove next year. I'm looking forward to seeing how he goes..

I base that on my opinion of him. :thumbup1: He is a very good a running the ball in broken play, outside of that. Well, nothing about him stands out to me.
Against a tired defence he is the man you want with the ball for sure. I hope he can show the form of 2012, but I don't think he will ever reach those dizzy heights again.

I never said he is a dud but I do agree that his 2012 form was a one off and will not be repeated.
