Certainly sounds to me like he hasn't given up hope. Just more subtle mind games to get him on-side. Make it look like they support him either way in the hope that he feels more positive towards the club and therefore is more open to staying there in contrast to if the club was badgering him. Didn't even deny the $1m offer, didn't say it's been retracted or allocated elsewhere (despite the recent big-dollar re-signings) either. He's a snake, Ricky, and he always thinks he's the smartest one in the room and he has everyone fooled.

I can't wait to see Milford in Broncos colours! I saw the game against the Knights and he was the difference. His speed and footwork is unbelievable. It's exciting to think what our backline could look like in a few seasons. Wow!
