Ain't that the truth. We're not getting DCE, it's just never going to happen! We need to start looking elsewhere cause DCE won't ever be a Bronco!
 
Didn't Broncos turn down Smith a few years ago? I think it was 2009. I've heard he approached them looking to leave Storm, before the salary cap scandal, and Broncos turned him down.

Granville is already 25 and been ignored by every other club I'm sure he's not going anywhere. Cowboys will be a threat as long as Green is there though.

Exactly, who else have we got in the pipeline? Nobody close to smith's calibre , people like milford and barba would have benefited immensely from smith. Looks like the broncos mediocrity will continue.

No one can blame management if the part about HUGE offer is true.

Unfortunately, that's what often happens with this type of players, which is why I always have to laugh at those who bag the club for not getting Thurston or Cronk, etc...

I think they'll so better with those players but I agree those players would go even better with Smith.

So now we're not getting Smith, reckon we still should sack macca and we should promote Granville. Macca has had sufficient time to prove himself alread.

For sure, not saying management should be blamed, it is just ridiculous this sort of shit is dragged out, i mean like many have said it was just leverage to get more coin from the storm.
 
Yeah nobody should be happy with Smith not joining the Broncos, despite his age, he would've delivered us a couple of premierships with our current squad, in my opinion.
