Parker and Slater MAY miss Origin 3 - who to move where?

Certainly put his hand up to be selected on Friday night. Obviously could form a lethal combination with J.T. I've never been a big fan of Bowen in origin, but he has never really been selected at fullback (at least I can't recall him being selected as 1). He's always been on the bench or wing.

He has played at fullback, I do remember that in 2006. Replaced by Hunt for game 2.

Yeh, this is a strange option if they opt to go with kasiano replacing taylor. If taylor or gillet is dropped (which i definitely think should be Gillet if one has to go, for reasons already mentioned) then we need to replace them with someone that will do what the likes of Luke lewis did to us, get up in their face and put pressure on them. The obvious replacement is Te'o. Not really sure how another prop fits in to this team

I'd have thought McGuire would have been in front of Kasiano anyway. We need to be more mobile. I think Te'o is the best replacement for Taylor or Gillett. Not sure Te'o has the runs on the board though. If we pick Kasiano it will be a NSW like selection **** up IMO.

Totally agree. If we replace a second rower, it has to be with Te'o. If for some reason a prop gets dropped / injured, it should be McGuire then Kasiano in that order.

Not the right thread but, Glen Stewart looks gone for origin 3. Nasty looking knee injury, yet to be confirmed of course but it looked season ending.

Dunno where you heard season, but initial diagnosis was grade 1 medial ligament strain. 2 - 4 weeks

Went off a little early it seems, I just called it as it looked on telly and the amount of pain he was in. Usually that means cruciate and season. Probably got my hopes up that the grub got a little karma.

Agree. They will probably bring in Hoffman now (if t-rex isnt fit) and hes probably more of a threat anyway
