NEWS Payne Haas retracts immediate release from Broncos then

Here is what this **** said to Brent Read:

“I have spoken to Sonny a few times (recently),” Haas said.

“He is trying to let me do my own thing and make sure I am all right. He does check on me a bit to see how I am.

“He has been good for me. He has been making sure I am all right, making sure I am coping with this stuff. I know he has been through it – probably a bit worse than what I am going through.

“He is telling me to keep my head and stick to footy – that is what you do best and that is all that matters. The problems I am going through now are nothing compared to what some people are going through.

“People have houses getting taken off them, losing family members. I have seen some things that I wish no kid could ever see.

“This is nothing compared to the things some people go through in life, the pressure they have to go through. Mums and dads trying to put food on the table for kids and not knowing how they are going to do it.

“That is when problems start to happen. What I am going through at the moment has nothing compared to them. It is only contract stuff.”

He doesn’t deny that winning is one of his priorities. So too is securing the future, not just for him but for his young family, in particular his daughter Lalita.

“She is one now, just turned one,” he said.

“I think everyone else would be like that – trying to do what is best for their family and trying to set them up for life as well.

“I am not trying to set myself up, I am trying to set up my daughter and her kids as well. Hopefully God willing, I can get that for her.

“As long as they are happy – and whatever makes them happy – that is what I base my decision on. What is best for them and my daughter – that is what I am basing it on now.”

the **** won't keep his stupid mouth shut

“The worst thing is about the money stuff,” he said.

“It (The Broncos offer) is the same deal that they offered me last year. The same exact deal. Six years – my last contract I made a mistake signing too long.

“I didn’t want to make the same mistake. I don’t want to sign a six year deal I will say that.”

There were initial concerns his contract spat may cost him his place in the side but Fittler stuck solid and Haas wants to repay the loyalty.

“If he didn’t chose me I would have understood why,” Haas said.

“He has now and I am here now. I am humbled that Freddie put his faith in me. Freddie is a good dude and he is easy to talk to.”

the BULLSHIT continues

“I just want to win games,” he said.

“I have said that before – I just want to help the team. At the Broncos this year we are going good now – top four.

“There his no hard feelings from the boys. I love the boys at the Broncos. Everyone knows that. I am having fun there. ”

Great to see that universally the commentary is pretty scathing towards payne. The only ones publicly supporting him are the ones with the knives in their back. His coach and his team mates. Would be interested to know their true thoughts. They would have to be pretty dirty

Why not do both? He’s struggling with his mental health because of the booing and he’s getting turned on because he is Muslim and friends are Muslim.
Hmm…actually he’s already played two of those cards, racism up next maybe?
Mundine will definitely play both cards... I'm surprised he hasn't piped up yet.

I know he doesn't have a boxing gig coming up, but he's a walking quote even when no one's looking for one.

Sack him and sue him for breach of contract? Surely it’s in his contract that he can’t publicly tarnish the brand. I’m actually certain that there would have to be a way that we are able to sue him. And perhaps if he is being sued by an NRL club the NRL wouldn’t register him.

Only if he makes allegations towards the club that are untrue or not factually based etc etc etc.

I wanted to share my facebook rant for those who are not facebook friends of mine:

I am calling on all of Brisbane to continue this campaign of booing against Payne Haas. Boo him when he touches the ball, walks down the street, stands in line at Woolies, gets a coffee.

This is a current Broncos player that is actively attempting to sabotage the season.

a player who is reportedly paid $750k this year with decent increases in the next two, making him one of the highest paid players in the NRL.

a player who had his Broncos contract upgraded due to his performances with absolutely no advantages to the club for doing it, they didn't even get an extension for the upgrade

a player who now changes his story every time he talks to the media, here is a list of the reason he has used so far

1. Not being paid his worth;

2. Not getting treated fairly at club (it was the NRL not the Broncos that imposed the suspensions for his off field behaviour)

3. Want to play for successful team (Broncos are currently on the way up and sitting in 4th place)

4. Needs to look after his new baby (there are 10's of millions of people in this country that look after their children on a fraction of his current salary (750k per year)

5. Not about money

6. Made mistake last contract, signed for too long (I have to expect that if he is old enough to sign a contract for 750k per year, then he is old enough to understand the meaning of a contract)

7. we haven't actually heard this one yet, but i'm sure it's coming

So I say again Brisbane, where ever you see Payne Haas (and he's hard to miss) ... BOO THIS MAN

Only if he makes allegations towards the club that are untrue or not factually based etc etc etc.
In most contracts it says you will not say or do anything that tarnishes the brand. He’s had several warnings already with the police incident etc and now is publicly complaining about remuneration while he is under contract. Nrl need to just come out and say they won’t register a contract for him so we can sack him. I don’t want him anywhere near the club. He’s a fuckwit.

Spines win matches .
How many games did the Broncos win with Payne Haas in the team before this season ?
He doesn`t make the difference between a win and loss .

Dear, dear Payne. Please stop talking. Please.

I mean, he could maybe share his wealth with those battlers then. Or maybe realise that other people are able to make do on a wage that is 1/16 of his and still scrape by. If he's that concerned about longevity he could look into a different career path, or consider that he currently has investments in housing assets that dwarf the average 22 year old man, let alone woman.

Man, play out your contract and learn from your mistake. Simple. Stop trying to pay to win. Be mature about your decisions and set a good role model for your child.

How hard is it?

I dislike this post. It is silly. I will now boo you when I see you in public. Boooooooooooo

Enough.

The Broncos must let him suffer, by not releasing him.

And fine him for his off field behaviour.

Make you question, had he gotten into trouble, hoping to be sacked.

That is a great point which I hadn't consider but is spot on. In years down the track what lessons would this teach his daughter? "Hey dad I have committed to do this thing but I want to do something else now but I am concerned I will be letting a lot of people down if I don't follow through with what I agreed to?" - "Oh don't worry about that just do what I did, focus on what is best for you and throw whoever you need to under the bus"
