This is all very interesting.

I have no idea what Marshall is going to do, but to see him run out for us in a Brisbane Broncos jersey in 2013 would be mega rad.

call me crazy but if marshall has a get out clause for if sheens leaves wouldn't you think he'd prefer to go where sheens does?
espaecially if the rumours are true and sheens is headed for the warriors, the did just lose maloney.......

Marshall at NZ would seem a nice (and logical) fit but I'm not so sure Marshall's disgust has too much to do with Sheens' departure ... or certainly not to the extent that he'd follow him wherever he went a la a Darius Boyd.

I couldn't see Marshall staying sane in a place like New Zealand .. I think he likes being in or near the RL epicentre and he's clearly got an interest in branching out a bit and becoming (or at least attempting to become) a 'personality player' via the footy show ect.

Might be coming at this from an optimistic viewpoint but Brisbane and the Broncos might scratch him right he itches so to speak - ie playing the lead role at a glamour club and playing at Suncorp Stadium during prime time pretty much every week for the next few years .. and an exciting youthful roster to play alongside ..

he's also got ties to this region from his school days ....

That's what I was thinking Bull Shark. It's actually why I think it's reasonable he could come here because I believe we would be a good fit for what he's after.

He deserves a 2nd chance regardless, I can understand how all of you feel though.

With the success this club has had over the years, patience isn't exactly an option is it? You expected positive results right off the bat and Norman isn't giving them to you. Which concludes to getting rid of him and being replaced by Ben Hunt or signing a superior talent.

I haven't been a supporter for very long, so maybe that's why I'm happy to give him another chance.

hehe, wasn't referring to the cap beads, was moreso a metaphor - ie Benji, the ready made elite 5/8 was the 'bag full of casino chips' and Corey Norman / Ben Hunt represented the roulette wheel spin and the '1 in 36' chance of being something better longterm. :tongue_smilie:
